Puerto Vallarta is one of the nicest beach in Mexico located in the Pacific Ocean with town charm and a lot of cultural offer such as events, galleries, museums, traditional cultures and in touch with nature and natural wonders.

Vallarta also is very near from "huichol" communities that are all around "Sierra Madre" mountains. Their religion consists of four principal deities: the trinity of Corn, Blue Deer and Peyote, and the Eagle, all descended from their God of the sun, "Tao Jreeku". Most of "Huicholes" retain the traditional beliefs and are resistant to change. These communities spend significant time working in tobacco fields or in art like paintings and handcrafts, very popular for visitors.

Puerto Vallarta was once named as The Friendliest City in the World. Today, because of the locals hospitality and the tropical weather all the year, Puerto Vallarta receives a lot of visitors that increase every year and it is especially popular among American and Canadian people, and in the other hand it has become a popular retirement destination for US and Canadian retirees. This trend has caused a condominium development boom in the city.

The workawayer can enjoy a great cultural experience with other visitors or with locals by involving in the huicholes culture or in the artists groups that have been in Vallarta for many years doing artistic work in the streets of the old town.
