  Description

  Hello. I'm a journalist, from Asturias, and a travel enthusiast. In 2023, I bought a house near my hometown after 20 years away.
  
  I've done WorkAway in various countries, including my hometown, Asturias, and I think it would be great to have someone supporting me at my home in central Asturias.
  
  I need people with good skills in repairing small things at home, painting and installing new furnitures (like put lamps, paint the roof gardening). Maximum stay will be 2 weeks.
  
  The Asturian Mining Region is a place with a very interesting history, with many traditional culture and events and also many bars restaurants and 'sidrerías' at good prices.

  He hecho WorkAway en diversos países, en mi tierra, Asturies, también y creo que sería estupendo el apoyo de alguien en mi casa en el centro de Asturies.
  
  Necesito personas que sepan hacer pequeñas reparaciones en casa, pintar e instalar muebles nuevos (como colocar lámparas, pintar el techo o hacer trabajos de jardinería). La estancia máxima es de dos semanas.
  
  La Cuenca Minera asturiana es un sitio con una historia muy interesante, con muchos bares y restaurantes de siempre y sidrerías a buenos precios.
  
  Es un lugar poco turístico pero que sería de los sitios que a mí me encantaría conocer cuando viajo

  I have to reorganize rooms in my house, move furniture around, paint a large room that used to be a tailor's shop and will be a cultural space in the future, and get the garden up and running for the summer. Also I need to install lamps, change some furnitures...

  Tengo que reorganizar estancias de mi casa, cambiar muebles de lugar, pintar una gran sala que era una antigua sastrería y que será un espacio cultural en el futuro y poner en marcha el huerto de cara al verano. Tengo que instalar lámparas y cambiar muebles como el espejo del baño.

  Hébergement

  I live in a house in an Asturian village. It's very spacious. For the Workawayer, there would be a room with everything you need (a large bed, chest of drawers, and a window) on the same floor as my own. We'd have to share the kitchen, bathroom, living room, terrace, and garden.
  
  Breakfast and one lunch are included in the plan. There's food in the kitchen and refrigerator. We can cook together or eat whatever we want. There's no meat. I haven't eaten meat in years, and the smell is unpleasant.

  Vivo en una casa en un pueblo asturiano. Para el Workawayer habría un cuarto con todo lo necesario ( cama grande, cajonera... y con ventana) en la misma planta donde yo vivo. Tendríamos que compartir cocina, baño, sala y la terraza y el jardín.
  
  El desayuno y una comida del día están incluídos en el proyecto. Hay comida en la cocina y la nevera. Podemos hacer esa comida cocinando conjuntamente o cads una comiendo lo que quiera. Solo no hay carne. No como carne desde hace años y el olor me resulta desagradable.

  If you are in a rush to join a project, rather look to something else. I have a lot of work and things to do in general, so for new guests of WorkAway I appreciate at least to organize calmly between a week or 10 days before the arrival.
  
  My village is 1,5 km away from a main town. There are few buses to get there on the day and the path is beautiful, by walk. In the main town there are trains and buses to connect with the main cities of Asturias, very often during the day. By road is very well connected.

  Wifi works very well and you can have a nice place where to sit with nice views while doing your job.

  There is a big parking lot in front of my house. It is not an official place for caravans. Anyway, I do not think is possible to place a campervan.
