About our location – Venticano (Avellino, Southern Italy)
We live in Venticano, a small and welcoming town in the province of Avellino, in the heart of the Campania region. It is a peaceful and safe area, surrounded by nature, perfect for people who want to experience the real Italian lifestyle, away from mass tourism.
Venticano is well located:
about 1 hour from Naples
close to the Amalfi Coast, the sea, and historical places such as Pompeii, Herculaneum and Benevento
well connected to other towns in the region
Our area is well known for:
traditional Italian food
local wines
village festivals and authentic Italian traditions
It’s an ideal place to learn Italian, discover local culture and enjoy a genuine cultural exchange.
About us – Our family
We are a young, friendly and open-minded Italian family, happy to welcome someone who would like to share daily life with us and become part of our family for a period of time.
Father (37): professional chef and event organizer. Cooking is a big part of our life. I love sharing Italian food culture, traditional recipes and culinary skills.
Mother (37): data analyst, working in an international environment, curious about languages and different cultures.
Daughter (6 years old): cheerful, curious and energetic.
Newborn baby: recently joined our family, bringing a lot of joy and new routines.
We are looking for a friendly, responsible and curious person who:
enjoys cultural exchange
likes spending time with children in a family environment
speaks English fluently or as a native language
is interested in Italian culture, food and daily life
Our goal is to create a mutual exchange:

We live in a private house surrounded by greenery but close to the small town centre with all the necessary services. We offer a private room with all the comforts, Wi-Fi, a private bathroom and if you wish you can have meals with us.

In our free time, the surrounding area offers a wide variety of scenery, from the mountains to the sea. The area is well served by public transport, making it easy to travel throughout Italy. We are a family who enjoys being out and about in our free time and spending time with our family. We enjoy various sports, including the gym and paddle tennis.
nel tempo libero i dintorni danno la possibilità di conoscere molteplici scenari dalle montagne al mare, la zona è ben fornita da trasporto pubblico e si ci sposta in tutta Italia con molta facilità, noi siamo una famiglia a cui piace muoversi molto nei momenti liberi e trascorrere molti momenti con tutti i familiari, pratichiamo diverse attività sportive, palestra, padel etc.
