Help with DIY and some farmstead projects in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada

  Description

  I am married , raised four kids on a quarter in foothills of rocky mountains with a few highland cattle and horses. Husband works away ten days a time. I would have a fifth wheel setup for people so they have their own kitchen...etc. Need help with some of projects on farm. Have horses of various ages and abilities . interested in people that enjoy the outdoors and working with horses. I am easy access to mountain riding and extensive hiking areas for anybody wanting to enjoy this country. I work part time as a camp host so gone a few times a summer season with horses. Over the years have had people from other countries stay with us ... kids friends. Very much enjoy other cultures and look forward to meeting others .

  I can help with any hikes or horseback riding in mountains.... I have been packing horses through them for about 25 years. Work away people would have their own space in an area that is private but within 45 minutes to city and so many areas for hikes and canoeing/kayaking. Close to beautiful scenery

  Some light construction.. fencing. Painting. Horse handling... currently have 17 horses and 12 highland cows. I pick up horses that have gone through some trauma usually... so they need steady and basic handling to be rideable. Plus General farm chores when I'm not here. Including square bale hauling... fence repairs and stock feed/check

  Hébergement

  Fifth wheel on farm. . . I Like privacy... will have fifth wheel fully stocked pots pans spices etc and we can go shopping so their is food they like. If anybody needs can do that too. I also have a basement suite separate entrance from garage. Full laundry and kitchen... they can use anytime. with a pool table sauna and some gym equipment that when I am away working stay away people are welcome to use. Can be two people staying at a time as well .

  We have three dogs as well. We live at end of no exit road with really good neighbors. Including horse people and a large sheep farm to the east. Being close to Yaha tinda, Ram mountain , hummingbird , Nordegg Alberta Canada... I enjoy going to lake or hikes/rides in mountains... so many waterfalls in area. I have an older truck for local farm work. But if work away people would like a trip into mountains with horses I can arrange that. Weather and time depending. There are a couple groups I know that would rent horses if needed as well. So could work and stay for a week on farm. Then I could take fifth wheel into mountains for them to enjoy that adventure... my favorite place to be... we are quiet non smoking couple with grandkids. So property is also a non smoking area.
