  Male 54 years, 4 children, (only one still living here) Working in education, which leaves too little time for my garden. My project is to develop my way of living and my garden in a eco friendly way. Growing fruit, vegetables and herbs for food and good health. The garden is large and is situated near a river and a lake. Very rich wildlife, beavers,deers etc very near.

  I work in education, favorite subjects are language,history,philosopy. Developing my large garden towards an ecological oasis, combining old and new methods on the way. Interested in the old ways and traditions of rural Norway, (and other countries) also as means for a more sustainable future. The area has rich opportunities for nature experienses. Forests, lakes, rivers. Canoe, paddle board, sail boat available. Love to exchange ideas round the garden fire.

  Aide

  Large eco garden. Need help with the different activities through the seasons. Planting,weeding, harvesting etc. Preparing the different fruits,vegetables, herbs for later use. Preparing jams,juices etc. Making of firewood, picking wild berries,mushrooms in different seasons. House work, preparing meals, washing, care for cats and dog.

  Accomodation in house, separate room with one or two beds. In summer tent/camping is also possible.

  Rural area 1,5 hours drive from Oslo. 45 minutes from Oslo airport. Bus/train available near by. The area is dominated by forests, lakes and farms, very rural, but easy access to cities and towns. Rich wildlife, good area for hiking,fishing and foraging. I learned about workaway in Puglia Italy, and found the idea very appealing, connecting with people through activities and exchange ideas/experienses about society and how to live in a better and more sustainable way.
