  🌿 About Our Place
  We’re located in Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast and offer a large, fully self-contained apartment on the ground floor of our home. It includes a private bedroom, living area, kitchen, and bathroom — your own generous, private space.
  Because it’s such a large apartment (comparable to properties that rent for over $750+ per week), it’s best suited to a couple who can contribute a combination of lifestyle support and creative help. We live upstairs in a separate part of the house and are a mature, friendly couple who enjoy a quiet and respectful home environment. The accommodation is clean, secure and in an unbeatable location. Mermaid Beach is one of the most sought-after areas on the Gold Coast and just a short walk to the beach, cafés, public transport and grocery shops. We welcome couples, and the space includes a queen-size bed and a single bed, so it can also suit two or three people.

  🎥 What We’re Looking For
  Ideally, one person in the couple will have skills in photography, videography, content creation, or digital storytelling — simply to help us document and shape some personal creative projects we’re working on.
  This might include:
  • Taking photos or short videos
  • Light editing (Reels, clips, stories, etc.)
  • Helping brainstorm visual ideas
  • Capturing beach and lifestyle moments
  This is support with our personal projects and passion-based creativity.

  🧹 General Tasks
  We also appreciate help with:
  • Light gardening
  • Tidying and small home maintenance
  • Occasional pet care (e.g. caring, short walks)
  It’s a relaxed atmosphere and we work things out together fairly and flexibly.

  📅 Minimum Stay: 1 Month
  We ask for a minimum commitment of one month. This allows time to settle in and get into a comfortable rhythm. Longer stays are welcome.

  We really enjoy meeting people from all over the world and learning about different cultures and ways of life. Our home is in beautiful Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast, just 450 metres from the ocean. It is a great spot to relax, enjoy the beach and live like a local.
  
  We are especially keen to connect with someone who has computer skills or experience with social media. If you enjoy sharing knowledge around digital tools or platforms, we would love to learn from you and exchange ideas.
  
  Clifford is a drummer / musician & artist extraordinaire, so creative and expressive people will feel right at home here. We are a mature couple and enjoy a peaceful, respectful household. This is not a party house and we ask that guests are mindful of noise and late nights.
  
  You will have your own self-contained unit with a private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge room. We welcome couples, and the space includes a queen-size bed and a single bed, so it can also suit two or three people.
  
  We are open-minded, friendly and value genuine connections. We’re looking forward to hosting people who bring good energy, a helping hand and an open heart!

  Aide

  We’re looking for someone easygoing and respectful to help out around our home with day-to-day tasks. This might include things like mowing the lawn, watering plants, keeping outdoor areas tidy, light household cleaning, and occasionally helping care for our small dogs.
  
  We sometimes need help with simple maintenance jobs, so someone practical or hands-on would be ideal. If you’re creative or enjoy photography or social media, we’d also love to collaborate on small creative projects just for fun and learning.
  
  Most tasks can be done independently, but we’re happy to work alongside you sometimes and share a cuppa or a story along the way. We enjoy good company and would love to welcome someone who’s friendly, reliable, and happy to pitch in.

  You will have your own self-contained flat with a private entrance. The space includes a fully furnished bedroom, lounge room, kitchen and bathroom. There is a queen-size bed and a single bed, making it ideal for a couple or two friends travelling together.
  
  The flat has its own fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for day-to-day living. You will also have access to laundry facilities and unlimited Wi-Fi during your stay.
  
  We live upstairs in a separate part of the house and are a mature, friendly couple who enjoy a quiet and respectful home environment. The accommodation is clean, secure and in an unbeatable location. Mermaid Beach is one of the most sought-after areas on the Gold Coast and just a short walk to the beach, cafés, public transport and grocery shops.

  We live in one of the best locations on the Gold Coast, just a short walk to the beach, cafes, parks and shops. Mermaid Beach is a beautiful and relaxed area that’s perfect for swimming, walking, or just enjoying the ocean breeze.
  
  On your time off, you can explore nearby spots like Burleigh Heads, Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise, all easily accessible by public transport or bike. There’s plenty to see and do in the area including live music, weekend markets and local food spots.
  
  We are a quiet, mature couple, so this is not a party house. We value respect, honesty and a calm environment. You must be okay around small dogs and be an animal lover, as we may occasionally ask for help with pet sitting.
  
  You’ll have your own space and plenty of freedom, but we do appreciate open communication and mutual respect. If you’re someone who enjoys peaceful surroundings and a bit of creative exchange, we’ll get along just fine.

You will have your own self-contained space with a table, lounge and good natural light, so it’s easy to balance your work with helping around the house. We are respectful of your schedule and happy to be flexible where possible.

  While we do not have space on the property for a camper or motorhome, you are welcome to park in our street. We are located in a very private, quiet, no through road, which is quite safe and has on-street parking available.
