  Description

  I live in a big house quite isolated in nature, near the city of Geneva, at the foot of the Jura mountain and next to Rhône river. I have a big garden that I really love, demanding a lot of care and help. Since I am a 70 year old lady I start to feel the need for help, that's why I would be happy to welcome you in an independent flat, ready to help me with simple gardening tasks, not requiring any specific skills. I am looking forward to share with you the hikes I prefer and to advise you for activities in the area according to your interests.

  I have travelled a lot myself, mostly being hosted by locals. Now that I have a house in an incredible environnement I would like to be the one offering hospitality in return . Continuing international exchanges is very important to me.
  Therefore I would be happy to spend time with you, and we could decide to attend some of the punctual cultural events in the surrounding villages (concerts, exhibitions, local markets, art workshops etc)
  There is a via ferrata within walking distance, the Rhône river and many hikes, half day long or longer.

  Aide

  Help to keep up with gardening: cutting down bushes, scrubs, mowing grass, watering, weeding etc. There is no need for special skills. I will be with you to explain and sometimes share the tasks. My garden is a natural one, I have never used any chemicals. It requires patience and respect for nature. Even better if you have a green thumb!

  I like to share my knowledge of languages, and also to practice Spanish, Italian, that I only speak very little.

  Hébergement

  I offer an independent accommodation on the first floor of my house, kitchen with all that is needed, two rooms with each a double bed. The bathroom is shared with me on the ground floor. There is no wifi connexion or TV in the flat, but wifi is available in the garden or in my flat.
  We will go shopping together, so you will have everything you need to cook your meals.
  But we will also share meals, a good opportunity to exchange recipes and sit together chatting. By the way I am vegetarian, but no need to be one yourself.

  Autres infos...

  I live close to Geneva and Annecy, two major tourist attractions. A bus is going to Bellegarde sur Valsérine or Gex, Ferney Voltaire, from my village, 10' min by foot. The nearest international railway station is in Bellegarde-sur-Valsérine. There is a via ferrata within walking distance, the Rhône river and many hikes, half day long or longer.

  There is a free parking space a few hundred meters away from the house.

  Possibilité d'accueillir les animaux

  I had a dog and cats, and from my experience I can tell you that they get easily lost in this environnement. There is no fence around my garden, so you would have to watch the pet closely. Please only one pet.
