  Dear workawayers,
  Are you looking for a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a cultural exchange while experiencing the tranquility of village life? Look no further!
  
  We are a welcoming family of three (Alex (36), Greta (33), Jarne (2)) residing in the beautiful countryside of North Germany next to Lüneburger Heath area in the center between Hanover, Bremen and Hamburg. We have a house with a beautiful garden we would love to share with you.
  
  Our home offers the perfect blend of intercultural exchange, engaging conversations, and a serene atmosphere. You will have the chance to assist with various tasks around the house and garden, providing you with countless opportunities to explore and engage with he local community. On top, to ensure your comfort and privacy, you will have your own private apartment in the building next to our house.
  
  Join us for an unforgettable experience that combines the best of cultural immersion, meaningful work, and the peaceful ambiance of our village. We can't wait to welcome you into our family and share this enriching journey together!

  Your stay with us provides ample opportunities for cultural exchange and learning. You will have the chance to immerse yourself in our daily life, engage in meaningful conversations, and experience firsthand the traditions and customs of our region. Additionally, interactions with the local community will offer insights into their way of life, enriching your cultural understanding. We believe in fostering a two-way exchange where you can share your own culture, making it a mutually rewarding experience for everyone involved.
  In case you also love animals, there is the possibility to do engage in some horseback riding or have a walk with the dog of my family which lives also in our village.

  Aide

  We are looking for a dedicated person to join our household as a Workawayer. Here are some specific expectations we have:
  - Gender:
  We are open to female applicants only.
  - Driver's License:
  A valid driver's license is necessary, as there is almost no public transport available and it may offer you more independence to explore the area and assist with tasks that require transportation. You will be able to take one of our cars most of the time.
  - Basic German language skills:
  While not mandatory, basic German language would be helpful for effective communication with us and the local community.
  - Appreciation for tranquility:
  Our home is a peaceful oasis at the edge of the village, and we are seeking someone who appreciates the serenity of village life and is comfortable with a quieter environment. Nevertheless, if you are looking for some local contacts, there is always some event around the next corner...
  - Enthusiasm for gardening and housework:
  We appreciate someone who takes pleasure in maintaining our garden and helping with various household tasks such as cooking. Additionally there might be some occasions where you can support with taking care of our toddler (2).
  
  We believe in open communication, so we encourage you to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about these expectations with us. We are existed to welcome a motivated and culturally curious individual into our home!

  Your accommodation will be a spacious, fully equipped 50-square-meter apartment with its own small garden. It boasts abundant natural light and comes complete with a private entrance. While you will have the option to join us for shared meals, you can also enjoy the flexibility of dining separately in your private space. It is designed to provide you with comfort, independence and a peaceful environment during your stay with us.

  Around our village in the Lüneburger Heath area there a million things to do and sights to see, most of them are only accessible by car from here:
  
  - Our village Hemslingen: Enjoy the scenic countryside, take leisurely walks in our nearby forrest Trochel or the moor area, and experience the warmth of a close-knit community with several events during the year.
  - Lüneburger Heath: Explore the stunning natural beauty of Lüneburg Heath, hiking and biking are great ways to enjoy the landscape. Also visit the nature park to experience the wildlife, moors, forests, and heathlands or enjoy panoramic views on top of the Wilseder Berg.
  - Heathland Carriage Rides: Enjoy a romantic carriage ride through the heath landscape and learn about the region. If you like horseback riding, this is also a great experience!
  - Hamburg: The vibrant city of Hamburg is just an hour's drive away, offering cultural attracttions, museums, and a bustling city life.
  - Schneverdingen. The nearby town offers the Pietzmoor experience trail, allowing you to explore a unique moor landscape.
  - Hanover: Since we are working for companies located in Hanover, someone of us is driving to the city almost every day. Come with us and take a day trip to the capital of Lower Saxony which offers a blend of modernity and history, with attractions like the Royal Gardens, the historic old town, and a vibrant cultural scene.
  - Local cuisine: Try regional dishes featuring heath potatoes, asparagus, and game meat.
