Description
We're a family of 5, originally from Belgium, newly settled in the South of France. We came here to enjoy the sun and have our children grow up around nature.
We are looking for motivated and energetic people to help us in the house, garden and swimming pool.
We like proactive people quick and ready to learn with a happy disposition.
Our house has a beautiful view, a vegetable patch, a big garden, a swimming pool and is in a green environment at the entrance of the village of Le Pègue. A lot of walks, bike rides and hikes start at the house and will take you around the area to discover lavender, olive tree fields and vineyards. The Lance mountain is just behind our house and will give you a wonderful view point on the valley below!
We are also close to beautiful medieval villages and small cities, an hour away from Avignon.

We love cooking, sharing recipes and discover new ones. We enjoy reading and find pleasure in discovering new adventures.
Vincent loves the garden and handywork. He shares a lot of his extensive knowledge about handywork and is looking forward to learn more about gardening.
We are happy to share our table and welcome you in our home.
We believe that being close to children also teaches us the important things of life.

Aide
We mainly need help with the house and garden sometimes with the children. Depending on our needs and what you like, it would be a selection of the following:
As we are renovating / maintaining part of the house we are looking for people who can help paint, clean and work alongside Vincent for eclectic handy work.
We also need help with cleaning the house (sweeping, vacuuming, steaming, windows...) tending to the garden (cleaning, weeding, mowing, trimming, vegetable patch, wood cutting, ...) and the swimming pool (morning and evening in summer).
We also need help with our three children. We are looking for someone with some experience with young children, who is willing to care, play and feed accordingly with our educational values.
We do not work on a fixed schedule but work on wednesday, saturday and sunday. Other days are flexible for volunteering hours and off days.

Hébergement
You will be hosted in a private room with a shared bathroom.
The daily 3 meals are provided for and mostly cooked toegether. We eat mostly vegetarian/ vegan food with inspiration from all around the world
We expect breakfast to be finished by 9am, lunch is around 12am and dinner 7.30.
A laundry machine is available.

We live in Drome Provencale, a region in the South East of France. The closest cities are Valreas and Nyons. Grignan is a little further and is Montélimar is 30 minutes away by car.
Buses pass in the next village and we are happy to drive you places.
We live in a little village full of nature and on the path of beautiful walks in the area.
We have bikes for you to borrow if you want to discover the countryside which is renowned for biking.
The area has many historical sites. The country is also famous for its wine, lavender, almonds, olives, silks, carpets and ceramics.
