  Description

  Hi I'm Paula, I am developing an enviromentally friendly Glamping on the Colombian caribbean coast.
  One year ago my husband and I acquired a 2 hectare plot of land with a wonderful ocean view in Mendihuaca. One hour from Santa Marta, in front of a beach where only locals and fishermen go.
  I am Colombian and my husband is French, we speak French, English and Spanish. Right now muy husband is traveling so I am by myself.
  The project is to have several geodesic domes, at this moment we are finishing the first one. We want to share an experience of connection with nature and luxury at the same time.
  We are currently living in a wooden cabin that we built in January in the entrance of the land, so we can be present during all the process and be able to get to know the land and adapt it in the best respectful way.
  The works that we have in progress at the moment and in which we are looking for help are:
  -Construction of geodesic dome: finalization of details, carpentry, furnishing.
  -Preparation, creation and maintenance of permaculture gardens.
  -Creation of the glamping promotional website and social networks.
  -Organization of events to share the experience with people in the community.

  In addition to food and lodging, in this project workawayers can connect with nature in a very special place, with a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains.
  If they want to develop their Spanish, this opportunity is ideal. They will also be able to share closely with a Kogui family and learn about their culture.
  The place where we are located is only 5 min from Tayrona Park, 20 min from Buritaca and 1 hour from Palomino. There are many not so well known tourist places around and all the time there are community events/festivals/retreats that we will be able to participate in.
  You will be part of the construction of an environmentally friendly tourism project and you will be able to participate with your ideas, we are very open to receive recommendations and knowledge from anyone who wants to contribute to our project.

  Hébergement

  I offer a single bed in a shared bedroom with me in a log cabin that has everything you need to be comfortable, outdoor kitchen and private bathroom.

  Main Sites
  From the property you can walk 5 min to the main road and easily take a bus or a moto taxi. You can also ask us to program a moto taxi to come and pick you up.
  
  Los cocos beach: only 8 min walking from our property you will find a very nice and wild beach, with good shade and where normally only local fishermen go.
  
  A 20 minute walk to the left from the beach in front you will find the mendiguaca river as it joins the sea and several typical restaurants and bars.
  
  The Buritaca river (15 min by bus) offers activities such as tubing (going down in buoys from the river to the sea) and stand-up paddle.
  
  Parque Tayrona: 5 min away by bus
  Reserve your tickets in advance and enjoy a full day of hiking in the park, there is the possibility to stay sleeping in the park or go and come back the same day.
  Inside the park there are several options to hike depending on your level, the sites you want to visit and your time.
  
  Ciudad Perdida: Entrance 7 min away by bus
  We work with Paraiso Tours operator, a secured and experienced company that will guide you.
  The hiking takes 5 days in total and includes food and stay.
  
  Quebrada Valencia: Entrance 10 min away by bus
  Beautiful waterfall and natural pool to feel the fresh water from the Sierra.
  30 minutes walking from the main road
  
  Palomino: 1 hour by bus
  Popular beach village next to the Don Diego River, with lots of restaurants and attractions for tourists
  
  Every week there are events and experiences we will gladly share with you so you can enjoy the best of this region.

  Hello! I am totally open to share the space and the company while we work in our personal projects. There is an open space at the house where you can work in your laptop. Very soon, we will have a beautiful terrace available to work with a fantastic sea view.

  There is enough space to leave your car, though transportation is very easy in the zone and we are only 5 min walking from the main road.
