Volunteers
we need help from 4 hours a day and 5 days a week, the schedule can be very flexible and divided
We are looking to learn new cultures , we will like babysitters for a 6 year old boy, he is improving his English and we will like to make it more fluent among other things, he is a very active boy who demands a lot of attention , a very little help in the house will be ask such as helping with the dishes or in the kitchen, we like to keep the house organized all the time and we highly appreciate your colaboración on it ☺️
We offer breakfast and a place to sleep in our apartment on the 5th floor near the center of Cusco, we are 20 minutes walking distance to the main square, next door from a mayor bank and one block from super markets and small shops, in our block we have several business like restaurants, ATMs and bus stops
We want to learn all from your country and we are happy to teach our local cuisine, our language and more
In the past we own a Hostel and most of my reviews are from it, please know that now this won’t be a hostel life, now this is more a home life in a family environment.

We can show our volunteers all the Peruvian traditions such as foods methods, art, history, and culture on a daily basis. A volunteer is not just a person who comes a perform a service, a volunteer is a person who will sit on our table and share stories, food and experiences, we expect to meet open-minded people who will join us for a meal like a brother or sister.
We will advise properly to all our volunteers how to move around in Cusco, what is the fair price to pay for things and how to get the best of this town on a most effective way :)
We like to hike and camp outdoors in the nature and we will be more than happy to share that with all our volunteers

Self-motivated volunteers to spend time with a 6 year old active boy who is very playful and full of questions, he is on a Monday to Friday 8 to 10 football practice and a daily 2 hours drawing and painting practice of his preference, we will like a volunteer with the patience to supervise and play with him

Cusco is a great city with lots of cultural heritage and many Arqueological ruins, churches, cathedrals, plazas, and markets. Every street or alley you enter or corner you turn brings another surprise in the form of the superbly constructed Inca walls or the more architecturally extravagant colonial churches and palaces. A close Inca site in the city is Sacsayhuaman, In the central parts of the city, there is a great variety of local craft work on sale in open air stalls and shops, creating a unique vibe. You will always be surrounded by friendly people in the city, and if you are tired of exploring you are more than welcome to just relax in our place, all the mayor ruins are close by and tours are affordable, not to say that Cusco is the 1st safest city in South America.

I loved my time in Cusco. It was my first time doing workaway. Kent was like a big brother to me, enjoy every minute with a lot of laughs. The job is super chill and if you ask with some advanced they can change your schedule for you do something you want. I love there and want to come back again to visit.

A nice and fun experience! Work is simple, consists mainly on managing and keeping the hostel clean, makin the beds and preparing breakfast if u have the morning shift. Eva y Roella fueron excelentes voluntarias , fueron muy amables y muy profesionales , nuestro Hostel puede ser aveces un poco complicado pero ellas se manejaron muy bien ........ Chicas les deseo todo lo mejor , me gusto mucho conocerlas ......fueron las mejores voluntaria que tuve este mes por lejos :)

We spent a month, running the smaller of the two hostels and loved it. The work was easy and we had a sense of ownership, being the only volunteers staying in the hostel. Its only a 15 minute walk to the center, 2 minutes to a huge market, and we got breakfast. Kent was great, I would recommend anyone to work for him.

Kent has two hostels, one for backpackers and the other one is more like a bed and breakfast. The work consists in reception and keeping tidy the common spaces, so not tiring at all. I spent 2 weeks helping at the reception of the 2 hostels that Kent has. The work is not hard or boring at all and let you time to visit the beautiful city of Cusco and also the surroundings in your days off (Sacred Valley, Machu Pichu, Rainbow Mountain, etc.). Que decirles de este lugar, una de mis mejores experiencias en Workaway. Mi estadía se extendió a 45 días en este lugar, dicen que Cusco atrapa, es verdad! Kent me recibió con la mejor onda y terminamos conformando, junto con los demás voluntarios, un grupo muy unido.

El mejor voluntariado!!! pensaba ir por 2 semanas y me termine quedando 1 mes entero, porque me senti super comoda.
Kent es muy divertido y siempre te hace pasar un gran momento. El trabajo que hay que hacer es muy sencillo!!!

Had a great time staying here in Cusco!! Kent is a very nice person and takes care of the volunteers well. I loved the family atmosphere (cooking together, eating together and seeing stuff together). Can recommend working at this hostel to everyone.

Kent is a great host with a lot of interesting stories to share. The help was easy and pleasant, my partner and me stayed there for 3 weeks and got to help at the reception and meet people from all over the world. Kent gave us some days off to visit Machu Picchu, which was great.

Excellent ! Spent two weeks, could have spent more. Nice hostel, staff friendly, and the owner Kent is great and helping ! Feel like in familiy with him and the other volunteers :)

I spent among 2 weeks in that hostel, I had a good time, kent the owner is a really nice person and I really like also the place where the hostel was located, because i could enjoy the two faces of cusco, the turistic one but also the most traditional
