  Description

  We live on beautiful Quadra Island and have a comfortable guest cabin surrounded by garden in the backyard. You will have your own private cabin while you stay here (full kitchen, bathroom, wifi, patio etc.).
  
  There are always jobs to do around the place, especially carpentry tasks (basic to more advanced) and some landscaping/gardening.

  Quadra island is an incredible, quiet and beautiful place to live and work. Whales are a regular sight, the island has beaches, parks, mountains and world class kayaking mere minutes away.
  
  We can share our knowledge of the temperate coastal rain forest we live in and the abundance of the Pacific Ocean which surrounds us.
  
  You will have your own private cabin, so it offers plenty of privacy and we share the garden, back yard etc.
  
  Our place is within walking distance to the grocery store, cafe, pharmacy, bank, library and even the ferry to Vancouver island,

  Aide

  There are always projects to do around the place, especially carpentry work (basic [planter boxes] to more advanced [a greenhouse!] ) and some light landscaping/gardening. Your skill level will help determine the projects that we undertake together. The greenhouse will be a longer and more involved project, but more simple jobs like trellising, arbours and garden planters are small tasks if you are not here as long

  We have a guest cabin in our backyard which is surrounded by our garden.
  
  The cabin has a queen bed and a double pullout couch. There is a full kitchen, bathroom and patio with BBQ.
  
  We are flexible on this. You are welcome to eat with us (we are vegetarian) or we can provide ingredients for you if you prefer to make your own meals. If you want to totally do your own food, that is fine too and we can reduce the number of hours accordingly so that it works out. Feel free to disclose your preference when we connect about an exchange and we can find whatever works best for you and your schedule!

  Our place is a quiet getaway and we are looking for people who respect a young families property. Not a place to party and be loud. A car is handy on Quadra, but you can walk to our house and all amenities from the ferry dock. We may be able to lend you a bicycle for your stay depending on your height! No smoking and no pets
