Description
I am Corinna, who live in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I have 8 rescued dogs, who are living with me in the house.
We have a big garden. You have to walk in the early morning 2 times, with each 4 of dogs. And you have to cook meat for them and feed them, sure and give them cuddles. Also I like to have some help in the garden, like watering.
My new house is 20 Minutes outside Chiang Mai in the Hangdong area. A scooter is there for you.
In the moment I am looking urgent for 2 volonteers for house&dogsitters for the month February 2026!

You will be staying in a lovely countryside area, with the local quiet community, surrounded by nature. But in 5 minutes drive you are at Hangdong market. You can learn Thai with me, if you want.
The best part: the dogs give so much love! They all have different personalities and stories, but all love to be with humans receiving lots of cuddles and love.

Please, read these tasks before applying for this opportunity.
First of all, you have to LOVE DOGS! You will be with all types of dogs on a daily basis, who need attention, love PATIENCE and care. You will get dirty, you will be licked and loved; Dogs are the priority in this Workaway.
I live 20 Minutes outside Chiang Mai in the Hangdong area, in a pleasant countryside area, surrounded by nature. It is a quiet area, not suitable for party lovers or a city-person.
We give free breakfast but not more, because we do not earn money with our dog help project.
Sure you can use the kitchen.
These are the main tasks, but not limited to:
*️️️️️️️️️️️️cook for the dogs and feed them
*️️️️️️️️️️️️walk the dogs
*️️️️️️️️️️️️bath them when necessary
*️️️️️️️️️️️️give them attention, love, cuddles
*️️️️️️️️️️️️give the dogs medicine when necessary
It depends how many volunteers we have (one, two or three), and if I am at the home or not during this period (sometimes I have to travel due my work) we can split up tasks and organise the weekly schedule.
You will be working around 4 h per day, 5 days a week, with 2 days off. Once we agree your presence, we will discuss the details. It is not much work, you can enjoy the Chiang Mai area. Grand Canyon and Cocoon is near of us.

Cloe and Tayler were great, they loved the dogs and were very busy with them. They also took long walks with the dogs. And they helped a lot in the garden. We had the best time with Corina and this great bunch of dogs. food was always amazing, communication was always clear and the atmosphere was very friendly at all times. Walking the dogs each morning across either the beach or mountains really started our day off with a smile we can not recommend this place enough. See you all soon!

I had a great time helping Corinna with the dogs in Feb 2023. I got to see several parts of the island and we attended 2 Carnival celebrations. I really enjoyed hanging out with Corinna. I liked my cottage and was able to walk into town easily. It was fun getting to know the dogs and I loved taking long walks with them.

Myself and Robin loved our time at Corinna's. Our accommodation was perfect, and Corinna is really welcoming. Most importantly the dogs are wonderful, we loved spending time with them and helping them. Both of us missed our new furry friends a lot when we left. We absolutely enjoyed our experience at Corinnas Animal Care Station. The house where we lived togehter with eight other lovely dogs is a bit outside of chiangmai city but for us the perfekt location to get in touch with this wonderful place. Very nice people and super sweet dogs! I had two great weeks with this host and even learned to drive a motorbike, which is convenient because this place is a bit outside Chiang Mai and it's the easiest way to come to the city.
