  Description

  My name is Sander. Since 15 years I am the owner and I sail my ship.
  Sailing is my great passion. Moving forward on the wind is and remains a fascinating spectacle. The weather is experienced intensively and is an all-determining factor on a ship. Sailing makes you subordinate to nature, which is why the trip can only be successfully completed as a team.

  On the ship, you come into contact with many different people, all of whom you have to approach in a different way. In addition, you will learn how to sail on a traditional Dutch sailing ship (flat-bottomed vessel with leeboards), and you will be involved in all kinds of activities that are carried out to keep the ship in good condition.

  Aide

  I am looking for young people to join me on my sailing ship as a sailor. Experience is not necessary, but an open attitude towards people and knowledge of English (and German) is required. I organise multiple-day sailing trips on the Dutch inland waters, Ijsselmeer and Waddenzee with mainly German guests.
  The guests will be actively involved in the sailing (each to their own ability). As a sailor, you instruct and accompany the guests with the work on deck.
  The age of the guests varies from 15 to 70 years, and they are very diverse.
  In addition, there will be maintenance work when we are not sailing.
  The sailing season starts on April 1st and runs until the end of October.
  I am looking for someone who is available for at least 2 months, a longer period is even better. The period you live and work on board, you have a private accommodation, and during the sailing trips we eat with the guests.

  Hébergement

  The accommodation consists of two rooms, private with a bed, sofa and sink with running water. In addition, there is a common room with the skipper with a toilet, kitchen and lounge.

  Because we are travelling a lot with the ship, you have a wonderful opportunity to discover the Netherlands from the water. Every night a different place to spend the night, and after sailing, you often have time in the evenings to discover the surroundings.
