  We are a lovely couple living in Valencia. Our two grown-up children have finished university and are now out in the world, and we share our home with two gorgeous cats who are truly the kings of the castle.
  
  We live in a beautiful house with a large pool, just a 10-minute walk from a charming small town. The metro is nearby, and Valencia city is only 30 minutes away. Valencia is a wonderful place to live, full of culture, with a stunning beach and plenty of hiking opportunities in the surrounding area.

  We are a bilingual couple, speaking German and English, and we also learning Spanish. Living near Valencia allows us to enjoy a rich intercultural environment, as the city is very multicultural and internationally minded. Valencia offers a vibrant mix of cultures, traditions, and languages, with numerous opportunities for cultural exchange through local events, cuisine, history, and everyday life.

  Are you dreaming of living like a local, immersing yourself in a new culture, and spending your days in good company? We’d love to welcome you into our home and make you part of our family while you’re here. In exchange for a little help with some light painting projects around the house, we offer free accommodation and all meals included.
  
  This isn’t about hard labour — it’s about doing tasks together, chatting, laughing, and enjoying the process. After a productive morning, you can relax by the pool, enjoy delicious home-cooked meals, and share long, relaxed conversations. Our home is a place where people connect, so if you enjoy helping with others, learning new things, and taking time to relax and enjoy life, you’ll feel right at home with us.
  
  Located near Valencia, you’ll have the chance to explore one of Spain’s most beautiful cities, as well as enjoy nearby hiking, nature, and local adventures. As a lovely bonus, our two affectionate cats are always around for cuddles and companionship and make excellent company. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay and want a warm, meaningful cultural experience, we’d love to hear from you.

  You will have your own private room with an en-suite bathroom. All amenities are available, including access to a large swimming pool and a private gym for your use.
  
  You’ll also enjoy plenty of cups of tea, shared meals, and delicious home-cooked food, and if you like, you’re very welcome to join in, learn a few recipes, and enjoy cooking together in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
