Description
We are a right young non-profit association and have the goal of reopening an empty mountain hut as a cultural venue. Our Baude // moutain-hut has been functional again for a year now. We offer dance workshops, organize theater and now also have a fine bar cart!
Now a lot of garden needs to be worked, you can help inside the Kitchen, in the garden and all kinds of crafts can be used for revitalising of the old building.
In the long term we would like to become a cultural venue for dance, theatre and contemporary art. With the attached guest house, visitors can stay longer.

We offer you a place in the middle of Saxon Switzerland, the beautiful Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Our new location offers opportunities to try out different techniques, get to know the village and in the summer there is a lot of theater culture. We are still at the beginning of our project, we are building a lot, we are looking for a sensible way to deal with the building, we include visitors and guests in our thinking...
With our hall we are the new contact point for various event formats. An important focus of our work is free dance, we are also happy to welcome new bands, visual artists and traveling do-gooders... Get to know us and join us in the offers...
Aide
We are mainly looking for support in the garden, for light housekeeping, and in maintaining our cultural space. Tasks include weeding, planting, harvesting, tidying outdoor areas, and helping to keep shared indoor spaces clean and welcoming.
We sometimes do small creative projects such as simple upcycling or seasonal decoration – always on a voluntary and low-key basis, and never requiring professional skills. There is no renovation, building, or construction work expected from volunteers.
While we have a communal kitchen and occasionally host cultural events, volunteers are not involved in preparing or serving food or drinks for paying guests. Instead, we welcome help with general upkeep of communal spaces and creative input to keep the place lively and inspiring for everyone.
Our place is constantly evolving, and we love sharing it with open-minded people who enjoy spending time in nature, contributing to a meaningful project, and meeting artists, travellers, and neighbours alike.

We offer overnight accommodation in super simple one and two person rooms, only beds are nothing big! You can go camping or in a van, everything is possible...
