  Hello Workawayers! We are a hostel located on the magical island of Ometepe and we are looking for energetic and positive volunteers to help us with the projects we have underway.
  
  About us: Approximately 4 years ago the hostel was born in the hands of Phoenix, today we are in a phase of transformation in which, cooperating with new partners and volunteers, we create a family atmosphere, which is why our slogan is Home away from Home.
  
  The Hostel: Located in the heart of Ometepe and just 100m from Lake Cocibolca, it is a hostel immersed in nature, with a swimming pool, art area, festival area, shared kitchen, a perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and connect with the nature.
  
  Ometepe Island: Located on the largest lake in Central America and formed by two volcanoes, Concepcion and Maderas, this island has dense jungle and countless animal species, it is a literal natural sanctuary.
  
  The Project: As a volunteer, you will help us in different projects that we have underway, so every day will be different and we will take into account your skills and enthusiasm.
  
  Our Values: The sense of community, family, respect for nature and authenticity are our main values. Creating real connections with all the travelers who arrive at the hostel enriches us with experiences and different thoughts.
  
  
  
  
  Hola Workawayers! Somos un hostal situado en la magica isla de Ometepe y estamos en busca de voluntarios energicos y positivos que nos ayuden con los proyectos que tenemos en marcha.
  
  Sobre nosotros:
  
  Hace aproximademente 4 anos el hostal nacio en manos de Phoenix, hoy en dia nos encontramos en una fase de transformacion en la que cooperando con nuevos socios y voluntarios creamos un ambiente familiar, por ello nuestro eslogan es Home away from Home.
  
  El Hostal:
  
  Situado en el corazon de Ometepe y a tan solo 100m del lago Cocibolca, es un hostal inmerso en la naturaleza, con piscina, zona de arte, zona de festival, cocina compartida, un sitio perfecto para desconectar del bullicio y conectar con la naturaleza.
  
  Isla de Ometepe:
  
  Situada en el lago mas grande de centroamerica y formada por dos volcances, Concepcion y Maderas, esta isla cuenta con un densa jungla e infinitidad de especies de animales, es un santuario natural literal.
  
  El Proyecto
  
  Como voluntario, nos ayudaras en diferentes proyectos que llevamos en marcha, por lo que todos los dias seran diferentes y tendremos en cuentas tus habilidades y entusiasmo.

  Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre

  The administrators of the hostel are Phoenix and Mohamed, Phoenix is Nicaraguan so you will learn everything that has to do with the local culture, in addition to increasing your skills in all the projects we have, whether carpentry, painting, event organization etc The island itself offers a very powerful opportunity for personal growth, but I'll leave that up to you to discover.
  
  We also have daily activities, such as learning to make nacatamales with a local family, fire workshops, and if you want to practice your Spanish, all the hostel staff speak native Spanish.
  
  
  Los administradores del hostal somos Phoenix y Mohamed, Phoenix es nicaraguense por lo que aprenderas todo lo que tiene que ver con la cultura local, ademas de aumentar tus habilidades en todos los proyectos que tengamos, sease de carpinteria, pintura, organizacion de eventos etc.
  
  Tambien tenemos actividades diarias, como por ejemplo aprender a hacer nacatamales con una familia local, fire workshops, ademas si quieres practicar tu espanol todo el staff del hostal habla espanol nativo.
  
  La isla por si sola ofrece una oportunidad de crecimineto personal muy potente, pero eso te lo dejo descubrir a ti.

  Aide

  Every day is different, so you will always be helping with different things, between art projects at the hostel, taking care of our nursery, helping us at reception, supporting our cleaning and gardening staff, accompanying our guests to the market, promoting our events, holding a daily activity with the guests, preparing lunch or dinner for the volunteers and staff or whatever arises that day at the hostel.
  
  
  Cada dia es diferente, entonces siempre estaras ayudando en cosas diferentes, entre proyectos de arte del hostal, cuidar nuestro vivero, ayudarnos en recepcion, apoyar a nuestro staff de limipieza y de jardineria, acompanar a nuestros huespedes al mercadito, promocionar nuestros eventos, realizar una actividad diaria con los huespedes, preparar el almuerzo o la cena para los voluntarios y el staff o lo que surja ese dia en el hostal.

  Hébergement

  You will sleep in a bed in a room shared normally only with other volunteers, the room has a bathroom, fan and closets and the bed has a mosquito net. You also receive three meals a day and a supplement to consume in our bar.
  
  
  Dormiras en una cama en habitacion compartida normalmente solo con otros voluntarios, la habitacion tiene bano, ventiladore y aramarios y la cama cuenta con mosquitera, tambien recibes tres comidas diarias y un suplemento para consumir en nuestro bar.
