Description
We are a young social company seeking to develop sustainable tourism strategies to support conservation projects in Nicaragua. We don´t receive money from any organization or governmental institutions. We run sustainable conservation initiatives thanks to active donors who participate in our projects; they cover their expenses and leave some funds on top to keep the project going, However, our staff team is small and we can´t cover all the activities. We are always looking for versatile people interested in long term stays and eager to learn about wildlife conservation while helping in specific project areas, We are particularly seeking individuals focused on social media and fundraising to help increase the impact and visibility of the project. Additionally, we appreciate people with cooking skills to organize shopping and cooking activities with short-term participants at the field station. Before you apply or offer your generous time to this initiative, please understand that we are in Nicaragua and work with the local community so it is important that you are able to communicate in Spanish even if your level is not advanced. We also require people who can commit for a minimum of one month.

Be part of a real sea turtle conservation project. Full training on sea turtles management at nesting beaches will be accessible. Our project site is located in a virgin island on the Nicaraguan Pacific coast, with accommodation included there.

Last but not least, we kindly ask you to refrain from applying if you are simply looking for a cheap place to stay comfortably while continuing your journey. Our experience has shown us that enduring the isolation of a nesting beach in rustic living conditions can be challenging without genuine motivation. We are seeking pro-active individuals with positive energy and a commitment to our conservation goals. After fifteen years of hosting participants from various backgrounds in similar projects, the general consensus is that you take away much more than you give. If you are currently seeking a unique experience and are willing to contribute to a meaningful, albeit invisible, project, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
