I really enjoyed my first workaway experience here! Everyone was so nice and sweet to me, I had a lot of time to explore and got many recommendations form Annalisa where to go, thank you!:) I felt very welcome and was able to learn something about Italian culture. Whish you all the best :))

Vivienne staied with us for ten days during her school vacation. Despite her young age, she immediately shown her active and organized side doing her tasks with the house and the kids, and then travelling in her spare time.
She also spent good family time with us,
following us or proposing activities herself. The kids had an immediate connection
… read more with and felt at their ease with her because they had the feeling she was at her ease too.
We hope to have her back for longer, next time!

It was such an amazing experience staying with this family. They were all so welcoming and kind. The town is very well connected by train so I was able to travel and explore every weekend. Additionally the work was very light and easy. Definitely recommend!

Danielle joined our family in the beginning of november. With her calm and nice personality she talked and listened to the children building an immediate connection.
She helped me in the light house chores as required and always on time.
Every weekend she went somewhere to discover the surroundings, showing to be very interested in art and italian

What can I say....: one and a half month is gone with the wind!

I stayed with family and I had a great time!! They are so lovely people and warmly welcomed me as part of their family. My task was mostly watching over their 12 year old twins and some housework and bit of gardening. It was absolutely light work and I had prenty of private time too. Their kids are all friendly, funny, independent, and very cute!
… read more They are already big enough so that I didn't need to mind them as much, but it was important that I just stayed with them until their parents came home. We enjoyed practicing English, watching Japanese Anime movie and making Sushi together. Annalisa is very kind and cheerful mother, flexible with my work and always made sure I was comfortable in their home. I enjoyed chatting with her very much. On my days off, I enjoyed exploring Venice and nearby cities. We went out together to the center of Montebelluna with the whole family for aperitivo couple of times, which was a really nice family activity! It was a blessing to spend two weeks with them, to share and experience their daily life, and a wonderful cultural exchange.

Luckily the destiny decided that Kaori had to be our first workawayer!
She's a little concentrate of energy and positivity, no wonder she's leaving such good memories in every place she stays.
Her duties were helping me around the house and watching over the guys, things that she did with no worries. She also did some gardening to upgrade my poor
… read more garden.
But what we appreciated the most is the "family moments" we spent together chatting, going for a walk, eating and trying new foods (she's not a picky eater at all!)
