Description
Fun and young family seeking (preferably) french-speaking childcare and household support in beautiful and vibrant costal town - Brunsiwck Heads (NSW). 10 minutes from Byron Bay and 1.5 hours from Brisbane this is a golden opportunity to soak up the East Coast lifestyle and improve your English. Add your wonderful energy to our household and family and dip into the delights of Brunswick Heads and the surrounding areas here in the Northern Rivers. Our family consists of a Mama & Papa and our little boy (2 years) and newborn girl (2 months). The support we are seeking is mainly with our two year old when he is not at childcare. We live in a lovely 3 bedroom house in the town (5 mins walk to the beach and local shops, cafes and restaurants). Jeremie (Papa) works online from home 5 days a week and Abi (Mama) is with the children full time until February when she returns to online teaching and workshops in Meditation, Self-development and Mentoring. We are very holistic in the way we live and try to raise our children in a way that keeps their curiosity, sense of play and joy alive and thriving.

We would love to learn about your life and for us to show you ours. Abi is a yoga and meditation teacher so you can do some stretching and resting with her and Jeremie leads breathwork sessions most weekends which I'm sure he'll share with you!

Aide
We are seeking (preferably) a french speaking individual to provide 3 hours of childcare (for our social and adventurous two year old son) or general housework (if our son is at childcare) and 1 hour of meal support for 5 days a week (2 hours will need to be 9AM - 11AM on Saturdays) in return for a serene double bedroom with a desk, large built in wardrobe and access to breakfast supplies in the beautiful coastal town of Brunswick Heads. This individual is ideally pretty self sufficient, adds a fun and playful energy to the house and the use of their own car is preferred. We are a short walk into town and local parks and beaches/the amazing ocean River. Weather depending (it's usually beautifully bright) activities may include: beach explores, circus classes, exploring The Farm Byron Bay, local playgroups, painting, colouring, play dough, taking our son to the local parks with his balance bike, or some light household support during the hours mentioned above.
**Ideally we will have an initial meeting to see how things flow and we ask for a 1-week trial period before extending**

Hébergement
Double bedroom in the house, with access to a shower and toilet next door, room is complete with a desk, large built in wardrobe, a lamp and we can provide bedding and towels.

You will have most of your weekends to enjoy the sights. We can provide a bicycle during your stay and paddle board for leisure time. We can show you some wonderful community-driven experiences like the local drum and dance circle that happens at the edge of a nature reserve every Sunday afternoon and live music that is at the Brunswick Hotel every weekend evening. We would be happy to give you advice to enjoy all of the abundant local farmers markets and craft markets as well as some beautiful nature walks, we can tell you about all the stunning sights in the area, mainly the glorious golden beaches and swimspots that line the coast, from which we are literally a 5 minute walk from!
