  Hi!
  
  Six years ago we were able to start our dream on three hectares of land in Waarland (West-Friesland). Our ambition is to grow a place where people and nature meet in ecological harmony and respect.
  
  We are a family of four. Renzo (39), Lotte (35), Malou (3) and Jacob (6 months). Malou is a cute, curious, active and enthusiastic little girl. She loves to meet new people, first a little shy, but quickly she will be your partner in crime! Loves reading books together, loves to play outside and she is the best in showing you how to live in the moment! Jacob is the cutest thing alive, his energy is calm and content, easy-going and (caution!) if he smiles at you, you will definitely melt!
  
  I am Lotte. I love: flowers and plants, drying herbs for tea, photography, second hand interior items, thriftshopping, cozy-ing up the house, gardening, good coffee, fire, my calm and loving husband, my sunshine Malou and my little heart Jacob. In short: at the end of the day, sitting on a vintage chair by the fire with lovely people with dirt under my nails! I am a spontaneous bon vivant, a bit chaotic yet orderly, creative and sensitive. Unfortunately my disability limits me from performing many of my hearts activities. Always looking for a balance between my head and my body, which is less cooperative due to osteoarthritis. That is why we are looking for a caring, sweet person to help us creating our dreamland and help with the kids.
  
  Renzo is an intelligent, calm and caring man. And the best dad in the whole world! A little nerdy, and I love it! He is a scientist through and through and when he does something he does it for the full 100%. He always has a listening ear and you can contact him with many life's questions. Oh and don't forget! He makes the best cups of coffee and plays the piano beautifully!
  
  We are planting a food forest. René (58, also living in Waarland) has designed this and the first trees have just been planted!!! René and his wife Laura (58) are lovely caring people and will be here sometimes with their young crew!
  
  Last year we realised our (no dig) vegetable garden together with Kim and Bald. They are here almost everyday helping us working towards our common goals and dreams. And we are just beginning! Kim planted our vegetable garden last year, which we are all enjoying very much. She is the sweetest and also super funny! Renzo and I both experience that it is very nice to be in her calm positive energy. Kim always needs a helping hand!
  
  Also on our land six sheep (Binky, Chocolate, Miep, Shaun, Keesje and Daantje) are roaming around! Mèèèèèèh!!!!!

  First and foremost we want you to feel welcome and relaxed!
  
  We have a beautiful place which is getting even more beautiful by the day closer to summer. There is a lot of room and freedom to for instance help with our food forest and vegetable garden, ride the lawnmower, walk with the sheep, lay in the grass reading books, chilling, working on your own project, exploring our surroundings, etc. We offer our own learnings and experience and are also very much open to any new ideas and improvements you might think of.
  
  Since 1 year I love wildcrafting (foraging) and already know quite a lot about it! I can teach you which plants and flowers you can eat and what you could possibly do with them. We could probably make this a weekly project together! I want to learn more and more and more! I will soon also purchase a drying machine to dry plants, herbs and flowers for tea! So you can also make your own tea.
  
  Kim takes you into the vegetable garden where you can learn a lot! And Bald will teach you the tastiest simple ultra healthy dishes, which we can prepare together outside on the fire in the Dutch oven! Bald is also building a sweat lodge so we can have our own ceremonies in the future. And we dream about building our own sauna!
  
  We know from life experience that your energy and creativity will flow when you do the things you really enjoy! We would like to encourage that. And give you the space to discover. It’s a benefit for life!

  Aide

  For now our main help-request is helping with the kids. And sometimes maybe a little bit of help around the house. If you like, there are always outdoor chores such as chopping wood or mowing the lawns. You can help us with our vegetable garden. And maybe, for example, help us building a sauna! So the tasks are very varied.
  
  We do not ask for a fixed number of hours per day, but we would like to discuss with you what feels good for everyone. Just like the chores, we can see what suits you. There are many possibilities!
  
  Self-reliability is a must.

  Hébergement

  We have a tiny retro caravan which sits on our land. Here you will have privacy, electricity and (30 meter away) shared sanitation with toilet, shower, washing machine, a little possibility to cook and a fridge. As much as practical we will prepare food, as much as possible from our own garden. You can also come with your own sleeping place; a camper, caravan, tent. And there is a possibility to bathe and swim in the canal. A fresh morning dive!

  Autres infos...

  We are a little remote so sometimes you will be able to take our car or a bicycle if you want to go somewhere. We can drop you off at the train station and pick you up again. Amsterdam is about 45 mins drive away by car. Hoorn, Alkmaar and Schagen are beautiful cities closer by. You can go to the dunes at Schoorl and to the beach and Texel is the closest island to the north.
