Description
Hello, we are a family living in a community style with other people from all over the world. We live 5 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean with several beaches within a 15-minute walk. We are also 5 minutes walking from the forest and right next to the Sintra mountain or Moon Mountain. It's a very magical area with beautiful people.
We're vegetarians and this place is free of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs.

In the area we have two organic shops, beautiful castles in Sintra, as well as the western most point of Europe (Cabo da Roca) a bit further away. We are 45 minutes by car from Lisbon.
Culturally there are regularly events around, such as Yoga classes, dance events and many other activities.
We've got bycicles you can use. There are also buses.

Aide
We are looking for motivated individuals or couples which help, in the renovation of our small community. Sanding, painting, flooring, as well as helping us to take CARE of our three children and help in the house chores. We are happy to receive people which are proactive or have a bit knowledge in construction or taking CARE of kids of small age (5, 6 and 7 years old). We propose 5h a day with meals included or 4h a day without meals. ( 5 days)
The small community we are building is in Praia da Maças, a 5 minutes walk from the atlantic ocean.

We offer a Room or caravan accommodation in our grounds, 15 minutes from the beaches and ocean pools. We are almost in the end of the road which means its very quiet area, just behind a peaceful and fresh pine forest. In this space you can hear the birds and The ocean. You can access all the amenities of the house.

My experience was wonderful, loved to be busy with my hands, doing painting a lot, the vegetarian food was delicious every day :) loved the town Colares so much♥️went swimming in the tidal pool a lot..made some new beautiful friends...I had a great time👏Thanks Joanna..
I stayed here for a week, the family were very kind and there were some other lovely people staying there as part of the community. We ate dinner together and took turns with cooking, I felt very welcome. I slept in caravan which was very cozy.
