  Hello dear travelers
  
  We are Costanza and Alessandro, and we warmly welcome you to our little paradise on the authentic Caribbean Big Corn Island, Nicaragua. Our family includes three lovely friendly dogs and a cat.
  
  Fourteen years ago, we decided to change our lives, leave Rome and Italy, and embrace a lifestyle in harmony with nature and local culture. Since then, we've poured our hearts into creating a tranquil haven here. Our property includes a rustic and simple guesthouse with five charming accommodations and a seafood restaurant where we serve fresh, delicious meals, cocktails, and Italian wine.
  
  We deeply respect nature and animals, and we strive to live in balance with our beautiful surroundings. In our free time, we value moments of peace and time to ourselves, and we hope to share this serene lifestyle with our volunteers.

  You can enjoy the authentic charm of the island. We love that Big Corn Island remains true to its roots and offers a genuine, unspoiled experience.
  
  You will gain a unique experience living a simple life on a beautiful island, and immerse yourself in the local culture around the island.
  
  We will share all of our knowledge about the island that we've gained over the last 14 years. Where the best shops are, we can help to rent a bicycle/scooter/car, where to swim and so on.

  Aide

  We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, independent, and mature volunteers who share our love for nature and animals.
  
  We manage our guests, not the volunteers, ensuring that your role focuses solely on supporting us with the property and its maintenance. The specific help needed can vary depending on the season and our current needs. We will talk in person what kind of help is needed at the moment, please ask when you get in touch.
  
  •Gardening and Landscaping:
  Basic tasks ,
  Help maintain our beautiful gardens and keep the beach clean.
  
  •General Maintenance:
  Support with small repairs, painting, and general upkeep of our premises
  
  We prefer to host a couple or two friends who can work well together and enjoy a shared experience. A positive attitude and a love for nature and animals are essential.

  Hébergement

  Our accommodation for volunteers is rustic and simple yet comfortable, reflecting the authentic charm of the island.
  You will have a seafront bungalow to yourself, equipped with one matrimonial bed, a fan, a simple kitchen where you can cook for yourself and a bathroom with a "cold" water shower.
  
  We don't provide food due to the little work we ask for. There will be cooking oil, salt and pepper for you.

  How to get to our place:
  You can take a bus from Managua (Terminal buses Costa Caribe next to Mercado Mayoreo) to Bluefields. You can see the departure times on Google maps. It makes sense to stay for one night in Bluefields and to catch the ferry to Big Corn Island leaving every Wednesday and Saturday at 9am. The ticket can be purchased in advance or on the ferry. We would recommend to be at the port at 7am the very latest. The ferry fills up quickly and can get really crowded.
  
  From the port it's a short walk of 25 minutes or take a taxi for 35 Cordoba per person.
  
  Alternative option is to fly to Big Corn Island.
  From the airport you can take a taxi for 35 Cordoba per person.
  
  
  We have WiFi on the property, but not in your accomodation. And there is a good claro signal.
