  Description

  My name is Benjamin, one of the founder and manager of Rescue education centre, I have a family of five, my spouse is a teacher by profession, she teaches secondary school where by some of these vulnerable children are schooling, the centre is located in the north west part of Kenya in west pokot county few km from kapenguria municipality.
  
  
  The centre was started in the year 2014 after realization of the rampant disadvantaged and vulnerable children in the community, the centre got 12 teaching staffs, 2 cooks, and 2 watchman, yet to be relocated after the change of Kenya school curriculum System, but Still in the centre payment.
  
  
  The Centre objectives aim at changing lives of the vulnerable children who haven't meet the chance to experience the parental care and love, through education.
  
  
  We have beautiful young orphan students who work hard for a new life style and knowledge to find the way. They have refused from early forced mariage and cattle rustling and some of them are from humble families.
  
  
  They want to be tought in line of moral and all what can be given to meet their careers from all over the world and then be prepared to a place at the university. Don't hesitate to write to us at any given time you wanted to visit our rescue.
  
  
  The Rescue centre at a time experience ups and downs in terms of basic needs like food and teachers token, here we look for fosters and government institution to cheap in for the purpose and objectives of the Centre to be met at long run, hence we have 19 families who foster some of the vulnerable and some others distributed to the Government schools for this reason to meet the basic needs, being monitored by the biometric data, during holiday they all come to the centre.
  
  
  The worker water may get good time to drive to the schools and teach the children what they could and also have fan, play with them ,acrobatic play , tag of war and many others like having nature walk to some good places like Turkwel dam, Nasolot game reserve's , Soighbei waterfalls.
  
  We also do agricultural farming activities which gives a certain percentage for sustainability of the rescue centre, we plant crops like onion, maize watermelon, beans for the children to use as food.
  Worker wayer may at a time see the interest to exchange the knowledge and experience of farming in our centre for the purpose of the program sustainability we would take it positive.
  The farming project is about 11 km away from town, which we can arrange with our double cub driver and the workers wayer there will take it as a tour and experience of cultural foods grown there.
  
  
  Since we have good means of movement , the worker wayer may have good interest of visiting the mining areas like, Remes, Kalilwo, kasei, Turkwel and many other places, where by the worker wayer will experience on how locals used to get there daily bread by mining gold, he/she may have test to mine the gold, no restriction to do so we have the area as well , and if he/she has modern way of doing it then, the locals would be happier than anything else.

  proper interaction with the community as well as attending cultural dances , singing make you join the singing and dancing, visiting the dancing and any plays competitions among the regional schools around, visit the open air markets to explore the types of foods they use, and to know other different languages of this part of the world and visiting many interested and exposure of different culture and other places like game park to see many different types of unique animals that will bring, HAPPINESS, LOVE and JOY to the travellers.
  
  In connection to this:
  the travelers will gain full experience of other culture mode of living and the type of food they use, here the travelers would gain experience of the types of foods that even can be used as food as well as medicine in the human body.
  
  Travelers will get to know different types of languages used by locals, and before they leave for their countries, they would have know how to greet and talk to the native through the native languages and this would make the travelers gain more experience in native preliminary talk.
  
  The worker wayer would explore and enjoy the dancing pattan and she or he would as well join the dancing to which would act as body exercise as well as enjoying the rhythm of the songs, which will bring joy love and peace of mind to the travelers.
  
  Visiting game reserve , the travelers would enjoy seeing many types of animals as well as gaining experience of the nature and how the habitat used to depend on its ecosystem.

  Aide

  Interacting with the students and have a lot of talk about things from the culture and your culture, as well you can make your own creative way of doing projects in the daily teaching of the children and again if you have interest or education in something special then or other experiment of your experience, our children will love to have this knowledge from you. you can feel free to make your own project to make the students achieve their objectives higher and the Centre.
  
  More so if the worker wayer, can make advance engagement in practicing charity work over the challenges facing the centre by doing sustainable projects that can sustain the centre is well appreciated , can either be, by teaching or by real engagement through friends.

  Students as well, would want to know other types of languages at least even that of greetings , this would add value to their life of experience if in the future they could get a chance to foreign countries they would have know how to talk through other languages even by greetings and other simple sentences. As well as the work wayers , they would be able to experience our simple pronunciation is to talk and have fun on it. This would lead the visitor know the nature of our language so easy , at the end of it all, they both learner and the teacher would have experienced in the exchange of language and language , the both gains mutual benefits, the travelers would be able to know and mingle with the people as fun.

  Hébergement

  We provide single and double rooms at the school and sometimes at our own homes, that is outside the school compound , with nice bed flash toilets desk and mosquito net.

  We stay in a a free from hostility, PEACEFUL and JOYFUL area close to a town with a lot of possibilities of movement in your any free time, be night be daytime. The teachers and the students will enjoy to be your guide and socialize with you.
  
  We have a lot of events for the community that you can join for your JOY and HAPPINESS Everybody want to give you good time here.
  
  We have Double Cabin vehicle to facilitate your movement from one place to another at any needed time, only that, little cost for tear and wear, fuel and driver is necessary.
  
  At a time the visitors may set time to visit our centre agricultural irrigation farming which is around 11 km away from the centre, it deals with beans , maize , watermelon, and potatoes farming, this may have been another good tour for the days of the visitors to experience farming methods here as well as to bring different farming skills.
  
  What can you experience here:
  Our centre is in the middle of a beautiful nature very close to town.
  
  It is easy to get around by foot or the vehicle we have. You can go around by yourself or some of the staff or students can be your guide as well.
  
  Some of the activities can be trekking tour to Waterfall, climbing hills, visiting current events of our Pokot culture, museums and visiting different kind of NGO or Business projects. If you like, we will invite you for some special events with local families, we ensure you for this that, will bring you LOUGH and LOUGH for enjoyment that will entail HAPPINESS.
  
  
  If you have interest in games you will find a lot of students available for playing valley ball, football, tag of war, dancings, rope jumping or just visiting them where they stay.
  
  How to get there
  we will provide you with our DRIVER of double cabin vehicle to bring you to the Rescue Centre as well as you can use flight to Eldored international airport, so that he can pick you at Air line station to the Rescue Centre or to the residences..
