Description
We’re Tiffany and Tim, and we live on a working farm just outside Bathurst in the Central West of NSW with our three young children.
Tim manages the farm and our premium lamb business, Margra Lamb, while Tiffany runs Regional AI Co., helping regional businesses use AI in practical ways. Life here is busy, varied and rarely boring. Depending on the season, our projects might include farm maintenance, gardening, preparing the vegetable patch, caring for animals, tidying outdoor areas or helping us stay on top of everyday family life.
We enjoy welcoming people from different countries and learning about their culture, food and experiences. We’re looking for someone friendly, responsible and comfortable being part of an active household with children. We want Workawayers to feel included in family life while still having their own time and space.
Our property offers plenty of fresh air, open countryside and beautiful rural views. Bathurst is nearby, with cafés, shops, sporting facilities and plenty of local events, while Orange and the wider Central West are also easy to explore. It’s a great place for someone who wants to experience genuine Australian farm and family life while discovering a friendly regional community. -

Staying with us offers a genuine look at Australian family life in a rural setting near Bathurst, NSW.
Over shared meals and everyday conversations, Tim can share his knowledge of farming and life on the land, while Tiffany works in marketing and AI and enjoys sharing what she knows. Our three children are curious, talkative and enthusiastic cultural ambassadors. They’ll happily teach you Australian slang, although we can’t guarantee it will all be useful.
We enjoy hearing about other countries, languages, traditions and ways of life. If you’d like to, we’d love you to share a favourite meal from home or something from your culture with our family.
When our schedules allow, you’ll be welcome to join us for trips into Bathurst, local events and relaxed time with family and friends. There will also be time to explore independently.
We hope you’ll leave with new friendships, a better understanding of rural Australia and some good memories. We hope to learn just as much from you. -

Aide
We’re looking for a warm, reliable person who enjoys spending time with children and helping with everyday family life in regional NSW.
The main focus is helping with the children and around our private home. This includes simple meal preparation, laundry, organising children’s spaces and keeping shared areas tidy. There may also be some light gardening around the house.
We’ll show you how we like things done, but we appreciate someone who can use their initiative and is comfortable being part of a busy family household.
Accommodation and meals are provided. We’re looking for approximately 25 hours of help each week, with duties, the weekly schedule and pay arrangements agreed before arrival.
This role does not include work for our commercial farm or lamb business.
Driving is an essential part of the role, including school and daycare pickups. You’ll need a current driver’s licence valid for driving in NSW, experience driving children, and confidence driving on the left and on country roads. Please tell us about your driving and childcare experience when you get in touch.
We’ll provide access to a family car with suitable child seats and cover fuel for agreed family duties. Personal use will be discussed separately. -

Hébergement
You’ll have your own private bedroom inside our family home. The room has a queen bed, fresh linen, built-in storage and large windows and doors overlooking the surrounding paddocks. It is bright, comfortable and gives you a quiet space to relax and enjoy the countryside views.
You’ll have access to the household bathroom, kitchen, laundry, living areas and Wi-Fi. Meals are included, and we generally enjoy dinner together as a family. Breakfast and lunch are more relaxed, with food available for you to prepare yourself. We’re happy to discuss reasonable dietary requirements before you arrive.
We are a family of five with three young children, so the house is friendly and active rather than completely silent. Your bedroom is private, and we respect that everyone needs their own space and downtime. -
Autres infos...
We live on a rural property outside Bathurst, so having your own vehicle is strongly recommended if you want to explore independently. Public transport from the farm is very limited. We can help with occasional trips into town when our schedule allows, but we can’t guarantee daily transport.
Bathurst has cafés, shops, gyms, sporting facilities and regular events, and there are plenty of places to explore throughout the Central West. Orange, local wineries, country towns, walking tracks and national parks are all within reach if you have a car.
You’ll need to be comfortable around children, animals and the everyday noise of a busy family home. We ask everyone to keep their bedroom and shared spaces tidy, communicate their plans, respect the children’s routines and follow all farm safety instructions. Gates must always be left as you found them. The weather can range from very cold winters to hot summers, so please bring practical clothing, sturdy enclosed shoes and a good sense of humour about country weather. -

We have good Wi-Fi suitable for remote work and video calls. Help hours can be agreed in advance and arranged around reasonable remote-work commitments, provided the agreed tasks are completed. Please remember that this is a working farm and a family home with three young children, so it may be lively during mornings and afternoons. Your private bedroom provides a quieter place to work, but noise-cancelling headphones may occasionally be your best friend.
