Description
Hello! We are Marion (French) and Carlos (Spaniard), both ex-workawayers with very good experiences around the world. Now we have a 15 months old baby, Carlos Jr, so we decided to continue experiencing workaway but from home! :)
Since some years living in France, Portugal and Spain, we defintely decided to stay at the beautiful city of Alicante, with good weather all year round, delicious food and a good atmosphere. We live close to the city center, just 13 minutes by walk to the Central Market, so there are plenty of supermarkets, we have the auditorium 2-minute walk away, and all the variety of restaurants you can imagine (we only recommend the best ones!), with a lot of buses and tram stops to go anywhere around (Benidorm, Villajoyosa, San Juan, etc.). You can go even walking to Playa de El Postiguet.
In our lives from Monday to Friday, Marion works from home in customer service for an IT company, and Carlos works in exports for a chocolate company.
On weekends we like to go walking, visiting some other towns, going to the beach or doing sport. The rest of the time, we are doing our best to take care of our baby, that luckily he is a good boy! -

We are an easy going family and we both were in your position as workawayer, so we try to be flexible when we can. You can be immersed in a multicultural family, but at the same time you will experience the local life.
In your free time you can enjoy all the afternoons in Alicante or relax at home. On weekends you can take advantage of the opportunity to go to coves, beaches or nearby towns, we have a huge variety of places worth visiting within an hour. Of course, if you want to join us in any of our weekend plans, you are more than welcome.
We want you take part of our family while you're staying with us! -

Hébergement
We live in an apartment and a private room will be provided for our workawayer. We have 2 bathrooms at home, so mostly you'll have your own one.
Food is provided and we use to cook a mix of Spanish and French cuisine :) -
