Description
We (Jesús and Teresa) are a spanish-german couple who lives in a 20 hectare finca in the nature park of Aracena in Andalusia, close to the portuguese border. Also with us are our 9 dogs, 2 donkeys and 10 chickens. We live 100% off grid in the middle of nowhere and are surrounded mostly by olive trees and oaks. You can watch wildlife such as deers, wild boars, foxes, badgers, genets, eagles and many others.
We make our own olive oil and have started to create a fruit forest and vegetable garden and are keen to be as selfsufficient as possible in the near future.

Chance to learn spanish, and german, learn about olive oil producing, the challenges of off-grid living and get to know the andalusian lifestyle while visiting the area.

We mostly need help with pruning, maintenance of the tools, firewood making, clearing the river bank, olive harvesting and olive oil making,.....
Also, if there is someone with experience with donkeys who can teach us a bit of training and hoove trimming that would be great.

Hébergement
You can stay at our cozy fully equipped guest cottage on top of the hill with stunning views. Please note that the guesthouse is a selfcatering facility, that means that volunteers would have to bring their own food and prepare their own meals.

The finca is an hour's walk from the local village of Encinasola and only 9 km away from Portugal.
Seville, the capital of Andalusia, is 2 hours away by bus or car. As we live very remote it would be very convenient if you bring your own vehicle. In any case, we can arrange to pick you up at the bus station located in a small town 23 km away.
