Description
My name is Rossana. I am 49 years old, a few years ago, after 20 years working and living in Scotland in the community called Findhorn foundation an ecovillage, education centre and spiritual community, my husband, me and my daugther moved close to my family in Italy in a small village.
We are growing food and host workshops and our aim is to became a sostanible community. We are located in Lazio on the border of Abruzzo on the upper Salto Valley (Basso Cicolano), at the foot of the Montagne della Duchessa, in the protected area of uncontaminated nature. We are part of an old village (more than 900 m) called Corvaro, in the province of Rieti, 70 km north-east of Rome and 23 km from L'Aquila.
The center consists of a series of restored rural houses, a large piece of land.
We are a retreat centre, workshops, food production, sustainability/regenerative and a place when we reconnect with the land and the beauty of life.
We are hosting workshop in italiano of Agriculture and Permaculture and some workshop like the transformation games. We still don't have a website.
We would like your help for 4 hours a day for 5 days so you can have 2 days off to explore this beautiful area or to enjoy this peaceful place.

They can learn cooking skills, gardening, agriculture, permaculture and building with woods outside..animal care. The will have a very peaceful environment and the possibilities to be creative. We have a network with some farmer here that make cheese and have others animals so possibilities to visit and be in different spaces..
We are loving, welcoming and honest people, come from living in a big community (Findhorn) and know how to be with others and have good communication.

I am a great cook, the first few years in findhorn I cooked and host guests, we cook together and made big meals. I also loved gardening and plant vegetable, made jum and hearb teas...
I am a coach I studied in London and had some clients. I also worked with kids in FF hosting Family experience week and hold youth project. My husband is a permaculture. He build and planned this place..he also has a degree in busniess. He is from England, I am italian.
We need help for gardening, planting vegetables, harvesting, weeding, animal care, building and cooking.

We have a big house that we just rennovated with 4 bedroom 2 bathroom a launch and kitchen.
The room are big with a beautiful view and have internet connection

Here is a beautiful valley there are many different things to visit, ancient village, church, cities..we are close to Aquila, Rome and Rieti. In 20 minutes there is a big lake called lago del salto where there is possibility to learn canoeing and swimm. In an hour there is the sea...near Pescara.
There are different mountains the one very close 10 minutes by car or bus is called La Duchessa people all around Italy comes to climbing it..

Rossana has been very kind and welcoming and she made us feel home all the time. Corvaro is an amazing place, there is plenty of sites to visit.
We didn't find it hard to enjoy our time there between some good talks and some work in the garden.
