My husband and I spend half of the year in our countryside house in the Limousin region in the center of France (near Limoges). We have a family house there that is located in a village but that is surrounded by a big garden.
Our activity is to renovate and maintain this house. We have a lot of friends visiting all the time. For that we need support from somebody that can live with us in the summer. This would include welcoming our friends, helping prepare their room, preparing breakfast, contributing to the cooking activities, etc.
Mon mari et moi passons une grande partie de l'année aux beaux jours en limousin au sud de limoges dans une propriété familiale située dans un village.
Notre activité est la mise en état et l'entretien; nous avons bcp d'amis et sommes amenés à recevoir. Cela comprend: accueillir les amis, préparer la chambre avant leur arrivée, nettoyer à leur départ, contribuer à la cuisine en cas de besoin.

This will very much depend on the person and his or her personal interests and hobbies. We are in a village (no big city!) but the house is not isolated in the countryside. The region is beautiful and offers a lot of nature and landscape variety. We are located 20 min drive away from Limoges which is the closest big city with muséums and urban life. There are also sometimes art exhibitions in the surrounding villages. The person will have many opportunities to improve his or her French. There is also enough quietness for him or her to enjoy the nature, read or write.
Cela dépend un peu d'eux mêmes et de leurs intérêts personnels. Nous sommes dans un village ( ce n'est pas la vie de Paris!) La région est belle et variée propice à une activité de peintre. Il y a à Limoges quelques musées et dans les villages parfois des expositions d'art. Bien sûr ils peuvent perfectionner leur français Ou en profiter pour écrire au calme par exemple.

We are therefore looking for somebody that can help me in the house in particular with our regular hosts but also who could support my husband with the outdoors needs in the garden. We are looking for a person that can adapt easily and who is at ease with people.
Il est donc intéressant d'avoir à la maison quelqu'un qui s'intéresse aux activités de jardin surtout avec mon mari et à l'activité et l'entretien de la maison avec moi. Nous recherchons quelqu'un qui s'adapte aux mouvements de la vie de la maison qui peut changer au gre des circonstances.

We have an old and historic house. There are around 8 rooms and 2 floors. The person who will be joining us will have a nice room with a view on the garden.
Meals are home made and classic French cuisine. I will be happy to teach the person some traditional French recipies.
Notre maison est ancienne et a une qualité esthétique reconnue dans la région.
Bien évidemment la personne qui choisira de venir aura une chambre agréable avec vue sur le parc.
Les repas sont classiques.
Regarding transports, we have bikes here. There is also a train station in the village, busses and a blablacar station (car-sharing app).
Quant aux modes de transport , nous avons sur place des bicyclettes.
Train, bus, blablacar peuvent être aussi utilisés.
