  Description

  We're Valentina and Olmo, a couple in our mid twenties living in a countryside house just outside Bevagna, a small medieval village in Umbria. Valentina works as a social educator and has a background in cultural anthropology. Olmo is a wedding videographer. We've both done workaway as guests in the past and loved it now we live somewhere beautiful and we want to try the other side, hosting people we'd genuinely enjoy spending time with.
  
  We moved here recently and we're still settling in there's a small garden we want to turn into a vegetable patch, a garage to sort out, and we occasionally need a hand keeping the house in order. We'd also love help with everyday things like cooking. On some weekends during the summer, Olmo shoots weddings and would appreciate someone coming along to capture social media content on their phone no experience needed. And Valentina loves languages and would really enjoy learning a bit of yours during your stay.
  
  We're ideally looking for a couple or two friends it's easier for everyone, especially since we're both out working during the day. But one indipendent person is welcome too. The house has a private room for guests and shared living spaces (kitchen, living room, one bathroom). We do the grocery shopping and cook together; anything personal is on you.
  
  Bevagna is 10 minutes on foot. From here you can get to Foligno, Assisi, Spello, Spoleto without too much trouble. We're in the middle of the Umbrian countryside, so a car helps, but it's manageable.
  
  If you're into hiking or outdoor activities, Olmo will be very happy. If you want to share your language and culture, Valentina will be even happier.

  Bevagna is not on most tourist maps, and that's exactly what we love about it. Roman mosaics under a medieval church, a main square that hasn't changed in centuries, a weekly market, cats on every corner. Ten minutes' walk from our door and you're there.
  
  Our house is in the countryside, surrounded by olive trees and open sky. You'd have your own room, the run of the kitchen, and access to some of the most underrated places in central Italy Assisi, Spello, Spoleto, Foligno, all within reach. This is the Umbria people mean when they say they want to really experience Italy, not just see it.
  
  Mornings are quiet. Evenings we usually cook together, eat well, and talk. If you like that rhythm, you'll feel at home here.

  Aide

  We're working on our garden we want to start a vegetable patch, tidy up the outdoor space, and sort out a garage that still looks like moving day. We'd love a hand with that, and with the house in general: deep cleaning, cooking, keeping things running. Nothing complicated, nothing endless.
  
  On some summer weekends, Olmo shoots weddings around Umbria if you're up for it, coming along to capture social content on your phone would be amazing. You'd get to see venues and landscapes that most people only see in magazines.
  
  And Valentina will want to learn your language. So if you're willing to sit down with her and actually teach her, she'll be your biggest fan for the rest of your stay.

  Hébergement

  You'd have a bright private room and share the rest of the house with us kitchen, living room, one bathroom. The garden is our next project and we're planning to set up a pool this summer. We have wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, a TV and a gaming setup if you ever feel like a lazy evening in. We also have two cars and a motorbike, so getting around is easy Bevagna is 10 minutes on foot and the rest of Umbria is within reach.
