My experience at Henry and Emma's house was fantastic. It was possible to manage working hours with flexibility and we took care of their immense garden. We were assigned basic gardening tasks such as removing weeds, nettles and brambles, arranging wood etc... I really appreciated the fact that there was good communication and that they were often

Henry and Emma are two extraordinarily intelligent people who will have a lot of interesting things to tell and share with future workawayers.
Even though I had a level of English that didn't allow me to easily manage all the conversations, Henry and Emma always tried to encourage me and spark interesting conversations. I think this helped me a lot.
I think it is important to keep in mind that their house is quite isolated, but despite this Henry and Emma were available to support us during the tours we chose to do and, in some cases, to follow us to enrich our visits with their culture in the area Irish.
I'm really happy to have met them and wish them more positive experiences with Workaway!!!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

Nadia is a delightful, helpful person - she stayed and worked with us for two weeks. We really enjoyed her company, She worked very well in the garden on a variety of tasks: weeding, clearing nettles and brambles and taking ivy off old walls. She was unfailingly helpful in the house, and fitted well into our daily routine. We would love to have

In July I - with a friend - spent 2 weeks with Emma and Henry, it was mine and their first workaway experience and it has been even better than I expected!
They have always been extremely clear and helpful, ever since we got in touch they made sure we knew everything about our stay, from the house positioning to the irish weather; as soon as we
… read more got there they did everything to make us feel at home, we went grocery shopping and were allowed to spend our free time around the house, especially in the study (if you’re into reading you’ll find a whole library around the house!).
Our time-schedule was flexible and during work time Henry would often guide us through discovering the botanical species we came across and always had some fun facts to share.
We had most of our meals together (Emma truly is an amazing cook!), during which we had big and little cultural exchanges. They taught us a lot about Irish culture, from everyday life to some history. It’s been a pleasure to discuss with them various topics, in a very stimulating environment.
We also went on a few trips together, we got to see the main attractions of Ireland and even did some hiking.
I’m extremely thankful for the time we spent together and I do hope our paths will cross again!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

It was a real pleasure to host Marika and Nadia for two weeks at our house in central Ireland. Marika is fluent in English, as well as French and her native Italian. She is great fun - for example, I enjoyed trying out my few words of Italian with her, which helped me learn. Marika worked very well in the garden with Nadia, weeding, clearing

Marika and Nadia were both very polite and helpful in the house - we shared lunch and dinner with them almost every day, and they cooked an excellent Italian meal for us too. We wish Marika every success in her studies. She will be welcome back here if she ever wants to visit again.Feedback
