Description
We are a busy family of 4 running a hobby farm. We are a married couple with 2 young adult children that work and live on the property. Our farm consists of horses, donkey, cow, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats. We love our animals like family as most of them have been rescues and have needed everything from hourly bottle feeds to medical attention. We work hard and play hard. We spend the majority of our days outside. Our daughter is the horse/animal enthusiast/whisperer and town emergency animal first aid. Our son is the creative builder and blacksmith. We enjoy kayaking, (especially night kayaking) fishing, and water sports. In the evenings we play games or sit on the porch enjoying friends. We are surrounded by the beautiful Sequoia National Park with gorgeous views in every direction. We are in a small tourist town of about 2000. Our farm is 5 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park with many beautiful hiking trails from easy to all day advanced. We have many daily jobs around the property and can use help with everything from barn repairs, yard work, gardening, fence repairs, animal care, horse riding (experienced only), general and finish carpentry, cleaning and organizing. The lists are endless so any special skill, let us know. We usually work in the mornings so you will have plenty of time to explore the area in the afternoon.
