Hi! We are a friendly couple living in Kalbar, a beautiful rural town in Queensland surrounded by mountains, rolling farmland and peaceful country views. We live on a small farm property with a relaxed atmosphere, fresh air, and lots of space to enjoy nature. It’s a quiet area, but still close to small shops and cafes.
We love our home because it feels calm, spacious and connected to the land. We
usually enjoy the sunsets, starry nights, and the slower lifestyle here. If you like the countryside, animals, and the outdoors, you will love it too.
About our pets
We have a young Border Collie who is very smart, active and affectionate. She loves company, playtime, and gentle guidance. We also have free-range chickens who are calm and easy to care for. Our animals are part of our daily life, so we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets and treating them kindly.

Aide
We are looking for help with pet-sitting while we are away from home. The role includes spending time with our young Border Collie, short walks, feedding andand spending time with her with kindness and affection. She is very friendly, energetic, and intelligent, so someone who is comfortable with dogs and can interact with her gently would be ideal. We also have two free-range chickens, and they only require simple feeding and collecting eggs when needed.
The timing and frequency of help are flexible, so we can arrange a routine that feels comfortable for both sides. This is a perfect position for someone who enjoys quiet country living, nature, and spending time with animals.
