Description
Hello! We are a lively and friendly family of three; myself (Carola), Rodolfo and Ruggero almost 9 year-old son. We live in Palau where we run a small boat tour company that visits the surrounding archipelago. We visit beaches such as Spargi, Budelli and Santamaria.
Palau is a lovely small town in the north of Sardinia which boasts great gelato, pizza and stunning beaches, one of them only three minutes away from our house.
We would like an open-minded and flexible person who is willing to be part of our family and share with us her own experience and knowledge.

We speak multiple languages and are happy to teach you Italian. In the summer, Palau is a popular tourist destination where you will be able to mingle with locals and people from all over the world.

Welcome to Palau, Sardinia!
We are a small family living by the sea and running a boat tour company focused on nature and snorkeling in the stunning La Maddalena Archipelago. We've been hosting Workawayers for over 9 years now, and we truly enjoy the cultural exchange and the chance to share a bit of our life and work with kind and curious people from all over the world.
We’re currently looking for someone who is flexible and enjoys spending time with children. Sometimes we have last-minute tours, so we’d really appreciate someone adaptable and easy-going.
Your main help will be with our son Ruggero, who is almost 9 years old. He’s an independent and cheerful boy, but we like him to be with an adult who can take him to the beach, the park, or go on small adventures with him. A driver’s license is a big plus, as we may need your help driving him to kids’ camp three times a week.
You’ll have your own private bedroom, and share the bathroom and kitchen with us. The house is just a few steps from the sea and from the town center—everything is within walking distance.
We ask for help 5 days a week. In exchange, we offer a relaxed and authentic Sardinian lifestyle, good food, and the chance to experience our coastal life surrounded by nature.
If you're friendly, reliable, and love spending time with kids, we’d be happy to welcome you into our little world!

Hébergement
You will have a lot of independence as you will have your own bedroom, bathroom and kitchen in an apartment just two minutes away from our house. It is close to the main street, the beach, bars, restaurants and the bus stop.
You can join us for dinner some nights however you will have your own kitchen where you can prepare meals.

During your free time, there are plenty of beautiful places to explore and exciting activities to enjoy—such as diving, kitesurfing, windsurfing, trekking, or simply relaxing and getting a tan on one of the many nearby paradisiacal beaches.
In September, Palau hosts Isole che Parlano, a unique international music and arts festival that we proudly support as sponsors with our company, NatourSardinia.
In the evenings, you can enjoy a walk through the lively summer street market or unwind with an aperitivo in one of the many welcoming bars in town.
No car is needed to move around,our home is right in the town center, just a few steps from the sea and everything you might need.
