Description
I'm Rob, a single dad living in inner city Melbourne who may need some help from time to time, I have a long history as a couchsurfing host and enjoy meeting travellers, my daughter (born April 2014) also enjoys hosting and sharing, especially similarly aged kids.
It's highly unlikely that we would host single males without kids, so boys, please don't waste your time or mine by writing!
We have two dogs, Buster and Browny they are the cutest pups who will want to get to know you, they're 'free range' so if you're not comfortable being set upon for attention look elsewhere.
If we're not going away and don't need a dogsitter it's still possible to meet us, I offer 2 nights "couchsurfing" for new arrivals to Melbourne to help them get their bearings.

If couchsurfing I expect you to prepare us a meal from whatever you find in the fridge, we eat meat :)
If you are staying to help your tasks will be negotiated after arrival, but will leave plenty of time for you to explore! -

We prefer new arrivals to Melbourne, that is you just flew, trained or bussed into Melbourne for the first time!
My expectations are that any guest would be a contributing member of the household, sharing normal tasks like any housemate, there could be times I have a specific requirement, like dog sitting, housekeeping or maybe some gardening which we can discuss. Otherwise I value what you can offer in terms of fun, friendship and cultural exchange.

Depends on who is around, it will be private with shared bathroom of if we are away and you're working you will have the en suite.
For kids I have a bunk in my daughters room, shared bathroom. -

We are in Richmond a vibrant inner city suburb with great transport links from where it's easy to explore everything about Melbourne, trams and trains are 5 minutes walk away.
