  Description

  This is a project implemented in a socio-cultural farmhouse, aimed at human, social, and spiritual growth, and above all, the protection of the surrounding environment.
  Fourteen people, mostly single, live on the farmhouse in co-housing. This allows low-income individuals to live in a place (Padenghe sul Garda) renowned for its elite tourism.
  By offering workshops led by specialized trainers, we strive to give our participants the opportunity to discover, cultivate, and share their talents, particularly those related to their relationship with nature. All activities, promoted by volunteers, are free. Thanks to the contributions of some volunteers (including Workaway), the project aims to be self-sustaining. We need, above all (but not only) assistance with maintenance work in the woods and on the old farmhouse. (We speak little English. But with the translators on our phones, we can understand each other well.)
  
  Questo è un progetto realizzato in una Cascina socio culturale, finalizzato alla crescita umana, sociale, spirituale e soprattutto della salvaguardia dell'ambiente nel quale è immersa.
  Nella cascina vivono 14 persone, prevalentemente single, in co-housing. Questo permette a persone, a basso reddito, di abitare in un luogo (Padenghe sul Garda) di turismo d'élite.
  Dando spazio a laboratori, condotti da formatori specifici, cerchiamo di dare, a chi ci frequenta, la possibilità di scoprire i propri talenti coltivarli e condividerli, in particolare quelli legati al rapporto con la natura. Ogni attività, promossa da volontari, è gratuita. Grazie al contributo di alcuni volontari (anche di Workaway) il progetto mira all' auto sostentamento. Abbiamo bisogno, soprattutto (ma non solo) di essere aiutati per lavori di manutenzione del bosco e della vecchia cascina. (Conosciamo poco l'inglese. Ma con i traduttori del cellulare ci si può comprendere bene).

  We ask for help with jobs commensurate with the skills and aptitudes of those who will carry them out, from very light jobs such as cleaning and removing branches, to felling dry trees, producing wood and maintaining an olive grove. furthermore participation in the creation of a social garden as well as in the maintenance of the forest of affections (aimed at use by every local person both for walks and for various workshops in nature, also to remember newly born or deceased people with a tree, the forest also includes the installation of small artistic creations that evoke famous phrases linked to nature).   Chiediamo aiuto per lavori proporzionati alle competenze e alle attitudini di chi gli eseguirà, da lavori molto leggeri come pulizia e rimozione ramaglie, all'abbattimento di alberi secchi, produzione di legna e manutenzione di un uliveto. inoltre la partecipazione alla realizzazione di un orto sociale come alla manutenzione del bosco degli affetti(finalizzato all'utilizzo da parte di ogni persona del luogo sia per passeggiate che per vari laboratori in natura, anche per ricordare con un albero le persone appena nate o defunte, il bosco prevede anche l'istallazione di piccole realizzazioni artistiche che evocano frasi celebri legate alla natura).   it will be possible to sleep in rooms for 2 to 6 people with an adjacent bathroom every two rooms.we will all eat together, the brotherhood of people who live there and the travellers. but if any traveler wishes to prepare his own meals, he is free to do so, even if we prefer to divide the tasks in the kitchen and then eat together.

  you will be able to participate in the various events and workshops that internal or external professionals will bring. from spiritual projects, to talent search workshops, to many other innovations that will be illustrated in a calendar available in the farmhouse. By public transport you can reach Lake Garda in 20m, if you also want by bicycle you can easily reach the beaches of the lake in about 30m, the return journey is less peaceful and is almost entirely uphill.

  Con i mezzi pubblici è raggiungibile la stazione ferroviaria di Desenzano in 20m, Volendo andare al lago, in biciletta in 15 minuti circa si possono raggiungere tranquillamente le spiagge del lago, meno tranquillo è il ritorno quasi tutto in salita.
