Hello from the farm,
We are a big horse and cattle farm on the island of Hiiumaa. We have over 300 horse and about the same number of cattle what we herd on the island natural reserves. We are looking volunteers/workers with good horse experiences to help to tackle the big number of young horses. We offer beautiful nature are plenty of horses :) Most of our horses are Estonian Native horses rest are sport horses and sport ponies.
If you love horses and wish to experience real rural and ranch life, and do not shy away from hard work getting your hands dirty in all sorts of weather conditions - this is for you! :)
We are constantly looking for volunteers to help around our horses. More specific are these 4 months:
In March we have to do general farms maintenance, like fixing fences after the winter.
Normally April and May are the foaling months. But young horses need training all the time.
Our horses live outside 24/7 and this all a year around. They are divvied into smaller herds of 20 - 70 horses. They are not handled all the time so you can call them semi wild.
If u want to test your horse skill, this is a good place to start.
We will pay for skilled person to work with the horses.

We have 3 floor house ground floor there is kitchen, first floor a room whit bunkbeds and TV room. Nothing fancy but warm. Food will be provided by the host 3 times a day. Normally a cook will cook it ready but at times u may need to cook for urself or if good at cooking can cook for others too. Normally at busy time there are around 10 people to feed :)
We have a beautiful island to explore and we will take u any concerts or cultural events happening nearby. But its a horse lover paradise. There are plenty of herds of horses to explore... If have driving license can use the farm cars to explore the island.
