Hi there,
We are a multicultural couple (Spanish-German) with the dream to live as sustainable as possible and producing most of our food. Some years ago, we found a rural property in which to make it possible and since then, little by little it is taking shape. There is a lot to do, do you want to come contribute to it?

Aide
March and April in the Garden
March and April are a time of renewal in the garden, when winter slowly gives way to new life. During these months, we focus on caring for the plants and preparing the ground for the growing season ahead. This is very body demanding work, hence we are looking for workawayers with experience who know what to expect and like it. We prune trees and shrubs to encourage healthy growth, prepare and enrich the soil, and begin planting early crops and young plants. As everything starts to wake up, regular weeding helps give new seedlings the space and nutrients they need to thrive. It’s a hands-on, rewarding period, full of fresh air, learning, and the excitement of seeing the garden come back to life.
In case of bad weather, indoor tasks include installing lamps, DIY projects, minor repairs, and organizing spaces.

We both have learnt languages through staying with families abroad and know first hand how enriching it is. We welcome you to come and learn with us any of the languages we are native at (Spanish & German).
Hébergement
You will have a room of your own and a shared bathroom. If you have your own mobile van you can park it in the land or if you prefer to camp it would also be possible.
We will offer food for the main dishes. We eat mainly vegan, but Robert also enjoys some cheese, butter or yogurts from time to time. There is a small supermarket 5 minutes by foot if you want to buy anything else.

We have two bikes that are at your disposition to use. We recommend coming with a car if you plan to explore further the area. There are around 3 buses per day on workdays that go to the biggest city in the area, Vigo.

We work from home in our office jobs in the mornings and afternoons on the land. There is a high-speed connection to the internet and enough tables to use as working space.
