  Description

  Hi, we are Lisa (55) and Roy (59), we live in the heart of France on a plot of land with a little forest. The land is surrounded by green and feels like a little paradise. We love working in the garden and the forest and are both creative, we love reusing materials, we make drawings, paintings, consumer products. Lisa also loves music and cooking. Our land is our homestead where we like to receive people who can stay here, collaborate and think and carry out creative projects.

  We are artists and can help you with your creative ideas and skills. Roy is an experienced setbuilder and painter for theatre. Lisa is a product and pattern designer. She is also a nutritionist and write books about healthissues. We live 15 km away from a little village where there are shops, cultural activities, market and little concerts.

  Aide

  We can use helping hands to help Roy with his diy, for painting doors and windows and gardening, You do not need to be experienced, as long as you are eager to learn. We love positive people with humor, not dogmatic who love a simplictic lifestyle, since we live more or less off-grid.

  We are a Dutch couple living in France and in the winter in Spain, so we are open to language exchange, we can help eachother learn languages.

  Hébergement

  We offer a little cabin in the garden with two single beds, standing height is 1.80 cm, so mind your head. There are two beds, so you can come as a couple or alone. We have a seperate bathroom with bath/ shower and a compost toilet. You can eat with us, or if you want cook in the outdoor kitchen. We love vegetables and animal products, lots of cheeses, eggs and meat. If you are on a diet, let us know. Lisa is nutritionist and former kitchen chef with lots of knowledge about food intolerances.

  In your time off you can walk, we have beautiful natural paths, we have bicycles and there is the large Allier river where you can swim on 4,5 km distance. If you do not have a car, you can go by bike. If we don't need our car, you can borrow ours.
  No smoking in the house or cabin. We do not eat vegetarian, we don't mind if you do. We live 30 minutes driving from Moulins, a nice city with museums and shops, this is also where the train arrives, if you come by train, we can pick you up. There is no public transport in our area.

  We do not have WIFI. We have lived like digital nomads ourselves for two years and 4g was enough for us, so we still only use this. So yes, you are welcome as digital nomad, as long as you have your own data/4G.

  Espace pour garer des vans

  We have a parking that fits a camper/motorhome, you need to be selfreliant for electricity. We have water. In the village (1 km) there is camper area where you can dispose black and grey water.

  Possibilité d'accueillir les animaux

  We accept pets, dogs, cats, or other. Just good to know : we don't have a fence, so dogs can walk around freely, there is no road only a sandy pathway for pedestrians. So there is no danger for cars. In the forest there are deer, foxes and martens. Our land is 1,75 ha.
