  Description

  We are Alfons and Roser, a couple who live in Ossera, a small town of 26 inhabitants in the Alt Urgell region, in the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees. We like living here because it is very quiet and surrounded by mountains. We dedicate ourselves to recovering and maintaining old paths, working in the garden in the summer, and enjoying the territory. Our neighbors are some artisans who came to the town many years ago (herbalist, jam maker, painter, ...) and young and dynamic people who have recently settled there. We are a good group who like to spend time together.
  We have 8 horses and 2 donkeys that live freely in the forests and meadows around the town in 2 herds: 4 potokas and 2 mares and the 2 donkeys. We also have a dog, Drac, who is a mastiff cross and something else. He is a charming dog, but a bit big!
  The potokas like to live in their own way, as long as they have mountains with grass to run and eat, and water and salt to drink. They also like to come and greet the neighbors of the village from time to time.
  The donkeys and mares want more contact with us, especially that we bring them apples, bread, ... and that we support them and pet them. It is always good to spend some time with them.
  And the Dragon is the happiest dog in the world. He controls the entrance to the village from the balcony, greets the neighbors when they arrive, and enjoys the walks and adventures in the forest like no one else!!! OH! and his best friend is one of the donkeys.
  
  Som l'Alfons i la Roser, una parella que viu a Ossera, un petit poble de 26 habitants a la comarca de l'Alt Urgell, al Prepirineu català. Ens agrada viure aquí perquè hi ha molta tranquil·litat i està envoltat de muntanyes. Ens dediquem a recuperar i mantenir camins antics, treballar l'hort a l'estiu, i gaudir del territori. Els nostres veïns son alguns artesans que van venir fa molts anys al poble (herbolari, melmelades, pintor, ...) i gent jove i dinàmics que s'hi ha instal.lat fa poc. Som una bona colla que ens agrada passar estones junts.
  Tenim 8 cavalls i 2 rucs que viuen en llibertat pels boscos i prats al voltant del poble en 2 manades: 4 potokas i 2 eugues i els 2 rucs. També tenim un gos, el Drac, que és un creuat de mastí i alguna cosa més. És un encant de gos, però una mica gros!
  A les potokas els agrada viure al seu aire, mentre tinguin muntanyes amb herba per on córrer i menjar, i aigua i sal per beure. també els agrada de tant en tant venir a saludar als veïns del poble.
  Els rucs i les eugues volen més contacte amb nosaltres, sobretot que els portem pomes, pa, ... i que els respatllem i els fem carícies. Sempre va bé passar una estona amb ells.
  I el Drac és el gos més feliç del món. Controla l'entrada del poble des del balcó, saluda als veïns a l'arribar, i gaudeix com ningú de les passejades i aventures pel bosc!!! AH! i el seu millor amic és un dels rucs.

  Ossera is a town in the Vall de la Vansa, where there are usually local festivals and other activities. It is also close to other larger towns such as Tuixent and Sant Llorenç de Morunys, with museums, restaurants, etc. And 1 hour away are La Seu d'Urgell and Solsona, 2 great cultural capitals.
  
  Ossera és un poble de la Vall de la Vansa, on acostuma a haver-hi festes locals i altres activitats. També està aprop d'altres pobles més grans com Tuixent i Sant Llorenç de Morunys, amb museus, restaurants, etc. I a 1 hora de camí hi ha La Seu d'Urgell i Solsona, 2 grans capitals culturals.

  We are going on a 20-day trip and we need someone who likes horses and dogs, and who has some knowledge. In principle, there is nothing to do with the horses apart from making sure that they always have water available (in winter it can freeze) and that the enclosures are in good condition. We also make sure that they do not have any injuries or health problems, in which case we should notify the vet.
  For the dog, the only thing we need to do is walk it and keep it company, apart from giving it food and water. Since it is a big dog, we do not let it walk alone in the village. Outside the village, it always goes alone, and into the forest.
  
  Marxem 20 dies de viatge i necessitem algú a qui agradin els cavalls i els gossos, i que tingui una mica d'experiència. En principi no cal fer res amb els cavalls a part de vigilar que sempre tinguin aigua disponible (a l'hivern es pot gelar ) i que els tancats estiguin en bon estat. També mirar que no tinguin cap ferida o algun problema de salut, en el cas que caldria avisar al veterinari.
  Pel gos l'únic que cal és passejar-lo i fer-li companyia, a part de donar menjar i beure. Com que és un gos gros no el deixem passejar sol pel poble. Fora del poble si que sempre va sol, i a dins del bosc.

  Oferim una casa independent totalment equipada al centre del poble. Disposa de sistema de calefacció, i està equipada amb cuina per a que qui vingui es pugui cuinar com a casa seva.

  Transport públic n'hi ha fins a La Seu i fins a Solsona (bus) i hi ha servei de transport municipal 1 cop al dia (laborables) de La Seu a Ossera.

  Estem molt a prop de 2 estacions d'esquí: Port del comte d'esquí alpí i Tuixent-La Vansa d'esquí nòrdic.
