  Hi :)
  
  We are Marina and Callum. Marina is Spanish and Cal is English and we have a waterdog, Comet, whom we adore. We have recently welcomed our littlest member: our daughter Pheobe. At the time of writing this (its January) she is 7 months.
  
  We are friendly, easy going people. We run our own business (a surfcamp and lodging) so we are usually quite busy but always around the house!
  
  We both love surfing and this place is perfect for that purpose: sunny and warm with lovely waves. You are more than welcome to join us whenever we get in the water.
  We also have surfing gear for you to use for free :)
  
  There are also great routes for road cycling and gravel biking.
  
  Please, apply ONLY if you are over 25 years old and ONLY apply for dates open in our calendar, please. (Sorry, but we won't reply messages not fitting this criteria). You will need your own vehicle.

  Somos Marina y Callum. Marina es española y Cal es inglés. Tenemos un perro de agua, Cometa, al que adoramos. Hace poco le hemos dado la bienvenida al miembro másjoven de la familia: nuestra hija Pheobe. Cuando escribo (enero 2026) esto tiene 7 meses.
  
  Nos encanta estar con gente y solemos tener invitados en casa. Llevamos nuestro propio negocio (un surfcamp y un alojamiento) así que siempre estamos ocupados pero pasamos bastante tiempo en casa.
  
  A los dos nos encanta surfear y este lugar es perfecto para hacerlo: soleado, cálido y con olas preciosas. Eres más que bienvenido a unirte a nosotros siempre que nos metamos en el agua. También tenemos material de surf gratis por si quieres usarlo.
  
  Por favor, aplica SOLO si tienes más de 25 años y SOLO en las fechas que tenemos disponibles (lo sentimos pero no contestaremos a mensajes que no cumplan este criterio).

  We love surfing. So when there is a swell you'll find us in the water and you are more than welcome to join us or just do whatever you feel like.
  You'll hear English and Spanish so you'll be able to practice both.
  Callum has grown up around bikes. So he can teach you anything you want about them.

  Two years ago we bought a lovely piece of land in la Costa de la Luz, a stunningly beautiful corner of the world where Europe meets Africa and we need some help with it :)
  
  The land is 7000m2 contains 4 Mongolian yurts, a wooden cabin that houses the common kitchen, bathrooms for those yurts, and a Andalusian style 2 bedroom house.
  
  The land and plants need constant attention; weeds grow everywhere and they need be pulled out. We also want to plan new things for the garden (your ideas are always welcomed)
  
  WHAT WE NEED NOW
  
  We are looking for someone to run the business in the summer while we are away. This is a paid position.
  Requirements:
  - Fluent in Spanish
  - Having a car
  - Must have proven experience in hospitality
  
  We are looking for someone to run the lodging businessfor the months of July and August. The job consists of: check-in/check-out, cleaning yurts, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning kitchen, maintaining of the property and the common areas, customer service, etc. We will be here in June to show you how it's done and train you up.   Hace poco que compramos este terreno precioso en la Costa de la Luz, un rincón del mundo precioso, donde Europa se encuentra con África.... y necesitamos ayuda con él :)
  
  El terreno tiene 7000m2 y contiene 4 yurtas, una cabaña de madera que alberga la cocina común, baños para esas yurtas y una casa de estilo andaluz de 2 dormitorios.
  
  La tierra y las plantas necesitan atención constante; crecen malas hierbas por todas partes y hay que arrancarlas. También queremos planificar cosas nuevas para el jardín (tus ideas son siempre bienvenidas)
  
  LO QUE NECESITAMOS AHORA
  Buscamos a alguien que se encargue del negocio en julio y agosto. Nosotros no estaremos. Este es un puesto pagado.
  
  Requisitos:
  - Hablar español
  - Tener coche
  - Tener experiencia demostrable en un puesto parecido.
  
  El trabajo consiste en llevar el negocio de alojamiento de las yurtas.
  Las tareas incluyen: recepción de clientes, limpieza de las yurtas, de los baños, de la cocina, check-out, mantenimiento de las zonas comunes, atención al cliente, etc. Estaremos aquí en junio para enseñarte cómo funciona todo.

  You need a car or bike. Public transport is very limited so you’d need your own car. We do have bikes for you to use.
  
  As we mentioned before, surfing is big around and so is windsurfing and kitesurfing.
  You can cycle and walk around la Breña natural park and take walks along the beach and the trafalgar lighthouse; it's a stunningly beutiful place to be at, honestly.
  
  This area is known for its cheap food and incredibly high quality tuna. So, if you like eating well and fairly cheap this is the place to be.
  
  Our neighbor always has Workawayers so you will meet a lot of interesting people. There is always something to do!

  Sería ideal que trajeras tu coche o furgo. El transporte público es muy limitado, así que necesitarás tu propio coche. Tenemos bicicletas a tu disposición.
  
  Como hemos mencionado antes, hay mucho surf en la zona, y también windsurf y kitesurf.
  
  Se puede ir en bicicleta y caminar por el parque natural de la Breña, o dar paseos por la playa y por el faro de Trafalgar; es un lugar precioso, la verdad.
  
  Esta zona es conocida por su comida barata y su atún de increíble calidad. Así que si te gusta comer bien y bastante barato este es el lugar para ello.
  
  Nuestro vecino siempre tiene Workaways por lo que conocerás a mucha gente. ¡Siempre hay algo que hacer!
