I would like to continue writing countless adjectives about the qualities of the incredibly strong, genuine, funny and free woman that Teresa is, but a list would not be enough. I've been living with Teresa - you can also call her Wonderwoman - and Isabella for 6 months. We got along easily, since our first call on WhatsApp when I saw both her and Isabella I felt home - I will always be grateful about that.

First, babysitting Isabella: she is the cutest little girl I've met, she is lovely, smart (three years old fluent in English/ Italian and learning Portuguese) and brave at the same time. She is plenty of energy and has a strong, social e funny personality. She can teach you many things as learning from you, so obviously it's important that you love kids and be able to deal with them. I can say that I had fun with her and that every single day was different. Further, the job description is exactly how Teresa wrote: pick her up at the kindergarten, play with her, cook something. It's important to be flexible and responsible and then the experience can be (and will be) pleasurable.
Secondly, Teresa is an amazing human being - mother and woman - you'll learn a lot from her, she has the best stories ever and she will make you laugh a lot (btw, thank you again), she is so fun! Besides that, she is fluent in three languages and can help you with, plus she is a chef as well (yes, lucky you!) so you I'll eat delicious meals and if you want I'm sure that she will teach you :)
Thirdly, Marcellise: what a magic place! Seriously, if you like nature you will feel in heaven, the hills are stunning and all the place is surrounded by vineyards. There is a trail that you can go for a walk or run, you can either use Teresa's bicycle to reach San Martino Buon Albergo in 20 minutes (on a flat path) and then take a train to wherever you want or take the bus in the morning or a ride with her to Verona. Further, her apartment is cozy and ample, you will stay in Isabella's room which is big and comfortable, a great shower and a huge balcony to sunbathing or just chill out. Plus, social life is something that you will build up, all neighbors are friendly and Teresa has great friends that can be yours as well.
In summary, I assure that you will have all the conditions to live a great time with them. And I'm already happy for you!

I met Teresa at a workaway where she personally knew the host I was staying with. Although she was not a work away host at the time I found her to be absolutely wonderful. She is kind and caring, her little girl is a sweetheart and has no problems with behaviour. Teresa speaks perfect English as she is from the United States originally and I think
… read more she would be an absolute joy to stay with. She lives in a small town but it is lovely and she is willing to help you get around. Her home is beautiful and comfortable and she is an amazing cook! Teresa and her daughter live in a beautiful safe part of Italy, I would highly recommend visiting the north of Italy it is so much safer and clean and easier to get around then the south.
