Description
In 2013, I bought a dilapidated parsonage in Zubrnice from the Catholic Church. I had no idea that I was getting a piece of history connected to the important parish priest, philosopher and writer Vincenzo Zahradník (1790–1836). I gradually repaired the rectory with the help of subsidies and volunteers, returned it to its original beauty and established a cultural center here, which carries on Zahradník's legacy. Today we are proud of the new Výkvět theater, which opened in 2024 in a former barn. A place where history and contemporary culture combine, it has become a lively space for theatre, music and other art forms.
V roce 2013 jsem od katolické církve koupila zchátralou faru v Zubrnicích. Netušila jsem, že tím získávám kus historie spojený s významným farářem, filozofem a spisovatelem Vincencem Zahradníkem (1790–1836). Faru jsem postupně opravila za pomoci dotací a dobrovolníků, vrátila jí původní krásu a založila zde kulturní centrum, které nese Zahradníkův odkaz. Dnes jsme hrdí na nové divadlo Výkvět, které bylo otevřeno v roce 2024 v bývalé stodole. Místo, kde se snoubí historie a současná kultura, se stalo živým prostorem pro divadlo, hudbu i další umělecké formy.

Volunteers can be involved in small tasks. It will be necessary to wash the windows, paint the boards, clean the parsonage or take care of the herb garden and garden. I am happy to share interesting facts from the history of the Sudetenland and organize a visit to the Museum in Ústí nad Labem. Together, we can also explore the beauty of the surrounding nature and meet local people, which will allow for a deeper connection with our community. I offer volunteers the opportunity to learn practical skills such as gardening, small cleaning and maintenance. I will also be happy to share cultural and historical knowledge about the Sudetenland region with them. I look forward to an enriching exchange of experiences with people from different cultures. I like to learn new approaches to work and also improve my foreign languages. I believe that guest hosting will allow me to broaden my horizons and get to know different ways of thinking and living.
Dobrovolníci se mohou zapojit do drobných prací. Bude potřeba umýt okna, natřít prkna, uklidit faru nebo postarat se o bylinkovou zahrádku a zahradu. Ráda se podělím o zajímavostech z historie Sudet a organizuji návštěvu Muzea v Ústí nad Labem. Společně můžeme také poznávat krásu okolní přírody a setkávat se s místními lidmi, což umožní hlubší propojení s naší komunitou.
Nabízím dobrovolníkům příležitost naučit se praktické dovednosti, jako je kultivace zahrady, drobné úklidové a údržbářské práce. Ráda se s nimi podělím také o kulturní a historické poznatky týkající se oblasti Sudet.
Těším se na obohacující výměnu zkušeností s lidmi z různých kultur. Ráda poznávám nové přístupy k práci a také se zdokonaluji v cizích jazycích. Věřím, že mi hostování umožní rozšířit si obzory a poznat různé způsoby myšlení a života.

Hébergement
I offer accommodation in a beautifully renovated rectory, where volunteers will have their own rooms. A spacious kitchen and all sanitary facilities are available. The parsonage also includes a garden with Landart elements, a fireplace and a pleasant seating area.

The rectory is located in the village, from where a bus runs every hour to the regional town of Ústí nad Labem. In the village you will find a restaurant, an open-air museum and a railway museum. The surroundings offer beautiful walks to defunct villages, to Bukova Hora, or you can visit historic Úštěk or picturesque Litoměřice.
Fara se nachází v obci, odkud jezdí každou hodinu autobus do krajského města Ústí nad Labem. V obci najdete restauraci, skanzen a železniční muzeum. Okolí nabízí krásné procházky do zaniklých vesnic, na Bukovou horu, nebo můžete navštívit historický Úštěk či malebné Litoměřice.
