  Hi Potential new friends,
  
  We are a family of four living in the beachside town of Valla, which is about half way between Sydney and Brisbane. We live on 5 acres which includes a wildlife corridor with a creek as well as an assortment of wallabies, kangaroos, a huge variety of birds. Our boys are aged 5 and 8. The 5 year old is full of energy and always upside down, and the 8 year old has just discovered how amazing a good book can be.
  
  We have a food forest (Syntropic Agroforestry style) and I love cooking straight from the garden. I'd relish the chance to share my skills.
  
  We are a 5 minute drive from the beach which connects with a river, so you can see fish (and go fishing) and also canoe from the river that is short walk away from our place. Valla is a small town but it has two excellent cafes, and Nambucca heads is 15 minutes away with more stunning beaches and all the amenities. Coffs Harbour and Bellingen are 30 mins away. Coffs is a "big city" with malls and chain stores, and Bellingen is a cool small town with absolutely incredible natural beauty (look up Dorrigo rainforest, and the promised land).

  When I was younger, I travelled extensively, and really enjoyed meeting new people and experiencing different ways of life. Now I feel like it's my turn to share our beautiful Australian lifestyle with you.
  
  I'd love to share our trips to the beach, where the river meets the ocean. I'd love to show you our beautiful garden full of edible plants, and together we can plant new seeds and seedlings. We also have a huge deck overlooking the forest which is perfect for any yoga, pilates or meditation you want to do.
  
  I am excited about having new people stay because some of the friends I met while travelling are still my friends. My partner Rami also speaks 7 languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Dutch, German, English, Hebrew and is currently working on Vietnamese) and would love to practice. Our kids are also very into learning new languages and I think would very much enjoy having someone new in the house to play with.

  Aide

  We'd love some help picking the kids up from school (driving required), and some light gardening (no knowledge necessary). We can also figure out an arrangement based on what you like to do. I love gardening and cooking from the garden, and would love to share my skills.

  The room has a single or king sized bed and built in wardrobes. It has a small desk in it and it overlooks the deck.
  
  We are happy to provide you with all food and meals. We can also offer a car to drive, on weekdays and on weekends if you want to explore the surrounding area.

  If you like surfing, Valla beach has great waves. If adventure is more your thing, there is a world class Mountain Biking Trail (as well as trails through our forest) and canoeing down the river to the ocean. We have a car that you will be able to use during the week and on the weekends, and there are plenty of great trips around us including Byron Bay (3 hours away).

  We can offer you an office set up and access to the internet which is pretty good, as my partner works in the TV industry and needs to upload and download big files.
