Description
We are Kerry and Ayesha, we manage an organic dairy farm near Gore.
We need some help tidying up around the sections.
There is a house provided with the basics.
Owaka is in the Catlins, a beautiful rugged coastal area with spectacular views, beautiful beaches, great walks, rainforests, dolphins, penguins, and sea lions.
We have four children between us aged 8, 9, 14 and 16, one who lives with us and the others live between us and their mother. We have a cute dog (Lucy), cat (Sky), three pigs (Henrietta, Trump, Kerry), and a group of chicks and chickens. We love having fun and going for bush walks, having a fire outside, and going to the beach. We love meeting new people, good food/drink, diving, and hanging out with mates.
We get the work done and then we have fun. We try to make our home a fun place to hangout.

We love our lifestyle and would like to share this with people who want to be a part of it
It would be great if you had your own car so you can see the sights

Donal went out on the farm while I done some gardening and cooking (with lots if veggies from garden yummy!!)

Birgit and Daniel stayed at my place for ten days. They were great to have a round cooking a lot of awesome meals and helping me on the farm. we went away for three days and they painted the bathroom which was a very big job and done very well. Daniel and I stayed for ten days with Kerry and his lovely girlfriend Hannah. My wife and I spent a week working with Kerry on the dairy farm. We instantly felt welcome and Kerry provides a relaxed and very chilled environment. Kerry's description is spot on, we get the work done as early as possible and have fun afterwards. Had a brilliant time. Enjoyed the simplicity of the town of Owaka and the cattle farm. I was treated just like family. The work was really simple, I made Kerry an Indian lunch everyday and went along with him to change paddocks or build a fence.

Great workaway place! Kerry is a sweet as host, a good bastard and a pro in table tennis. Kerry is a very friendly, interesting and generous person. if you want to see some crazy kiwis, best place to go. Kerry is a good guy all the time relaxed (expect by table tennis). Its really the best place to go if you want to meet some local people. he will show you around and do some kiwi stuff. his place is close to pinguines and sea lions

Daniel is a great landscaper he did a job on my section it was better than i dreamed it would be. he did a lot of work on the farm we got on very well. He was very good with the kids. I wish him well in the future

Kerry accepted our request last minute, we were so happy for that and really enjoyed our just 2 days stay at his place. We got to chase cows, do some work in the garden and made banana muffins. Everything was so relaxed and cool.
