    Description

Hello! We are Ingrid and Benjamin, and we’d love to welcome you to our home perched between the peaks of the Revard ski resort and the turquoise waters of Lac du Bourget.

Our lives are currently a beautiful, busy adventure. We have three little ones who keep us on our toes: Raphaël (2020), our curious and outgoing leader; Noé (2023), who is pure joy and laughter; and our newest addition, Sacha (2025).

Having lived all over the globe—from the US and Chile to Singapore and South Africa—we truly value cultural exchange. We love discovering new flavors, stories, and trails. Our home is a peaceful sanctuary with stunning mountain views, but inside, it is full of life! We are looking for someone who wants to feel like part of the family, enjoys the energy of young children, and appreciates the quiet beauty of the Alps.

We don't just want a helper; we want to share our lifestyle with you! As a family that has lived on four continents, we love the 'meeting of minds' that happens when someone new joins our table.

What you can learn & experience:

Alpine Adventures: We can show you the best local trails for hiking and the secret spots in the forest to find wild fruits. In the summer, you are always welcome to join us for a refreshing swim in the lake.

Sustainable Living & Gardening: Let’s get our hands dirty! We love talking about gardening and can share what we know about growing in this beautiful climate.

Alternative Education: With three young children, we are deeply interested in education and child development. We’d love to share our perspectives and explore new ideas with you.

The French 'Art de Vivre': We are happy to help you with your French and introduce you to the local food and traditions of the Savoie region

We are currently building our dream family and home, and we would love an extra pair of hands to join our daily rhythm. We see this as a true partnership—we’ll be working alongside you and sharing our meals as a family.

    How you can help:

With the kids: Playing with the boys, going for walks, or helping with the 'bath and bedtime' rush.

In the kitchen: We love food! Whether you want to cook a dish from your home or just help us chop veggies, help in the kitchen is always appreciated.

Around the house & garden: Keeping our home cozy (light chores) or helping us tend to the garden while enjoying the mountain air.

We aren't looking for a professional—just someone proactive, kind, and happy to jump in where needed!

We are a multicultural family at heart! Having lived across the globe, we want our children to grow up with open minds and curious ears. We would love for you to share your language and culture with Raphaël, Noé, and Sacha through play, music, or stories. In return, we’d be delighted to help you practice your French and share the secrets of life in the Alps!

    Hébergement

You will have your own private, cozy bedroom to ensure you have a quiet place to retreat and recharge. While the bathroom, toilets, and kitchen are shared with the family, we are very respectful of everyone’s space and privacy.

    Our Home & Setting
Our house is a peaceful haven designed for enjoying the outdoors. When you aren't exploring the mountains, you can:

Relax in our large garden surrounded by nature.

Take a dip in the swimming pool with stunning views of both the lake and the peaks.

Enjoy the calm and quiet of our neighborhood—it’s the perfect place to watch the sunset over the water.

We offer to provide and share the meals together.

    Practical Info & Time Off

    Life in the Alps
Our home is a dream for those who love the great outdoors. During your time off, you are perfectly placed to explore:

Summer: Swimming in Lac du Bourget, paragliding over the valley, rock climbing, or trail running.

Winter: We are just a stone’s throw from the Le Revard/La Féclaz Nordic ski resort—it is truly awesome for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Year-round: The forest trails literally start at our doorstep! Whether you are a hiker, a mountain biker, or a trail runner, you will never run out of paths to explore.

    Transport & Getting Around
We live in the beautiful alpine countryside of Pugny-Châtenod. Because of our location, please keep the following in mind:

Public Transport: There is a bus that comes to the village center (about a 10–15 minute walk from the house), but the schedule can be limited.

The "Alpine Challenge": If you bring a bike, make sure you have "very good legs"—the hills are part of the beauty here!

Our Help: Of course, we are happy to pick you up or drop you off at the local train station when you arrive or depart. Having your own car is a big plus if you want total independence to explore the region, but it's not a requirement if you love walking and quiet nature.

    House Rules

No smoking please. We keep a healthy, fresh environment for our three little ones.
