  Description

  My wife and I have been building our home here in Roche le Peyroux, a small commune, in this beautiful area of France for a few years with the help of family and friends from Scotland. Now we are able to be here more often we are looking for someone who can help with the building of a house, someone perhaps with experience in woodworking, plastering or general building work.

  We have found our neighbours to be very friendly and willing to share in all the activities within our commune.
  There are sporting and recreational activities all around us for example kayaking, fishing, hillwalking, swimming to name just a few.
  We have fresh local produce available at markets held in the local towns and villages.
  Experiencing life in rural France has been very rewarding for us and we would like to share this with others.

  We have nearly finished building our first house on our land and are seeking help with the construction of the second property. We hope that someone with woodworking, plastering or general building skills would like to come and enjoy the beautiful countryside, friendly neighbours and leisure activities which surround us.

  We have a modern 4 berth caravan or tents if preferred. Toilet and shower facilities available. My wife enjoys cooking and loves to see people eat!

  There are sporting and recreational activities all around us for example kayaking, fishing, hillwalking, swimming to name just a few. We have 2 bicycles with lots of countryside to explore. The gorges of the Dordogne are only 10 mins walk from our house. All our family love being here and are always booking for next visit before they leave.

  We have plenty of level ground with electric hook up and toilet/shower facilities on site.

  We have a little Westie dog, Poppy, who is a little timid around other dogs but friendly visitors are always welcome.
