Help with DIY and artistic projects at our family home in the mountains near Piana degli Albanesi, Italy

  Description

  Hi, we are a family willing to exchange some help with travelers. We are a couple, Rita (Sicilian), Andres (Argentinian), with one daughter Tiara (12 years old), a dog named Puna and two cats named Viola and Musica. We speak italian, spanish and english (but we will be glad to learn other langueges with you).
  Some time ago, we transferred to a big house with a garden in the mountain, that have a lot of space to share, and needs a little help to become as we imagine it.
  Rita is a dance therapist and art teacher, she is an enthusiastic and very social witch.
  Andres is a psychologist and a musician, he is creative and open minded.
  Tiara loves music and cooking.
  We love arts, reading and conversation. music, dancing improvisation, playing. We are curious and always opened to creative experimentation.
  We always liked a lot shearing our space of living with others and collaborating together.
  We imagine our house will some day become an open artistic and cultural residence.

  We’re looking forward to meet aliees to collaborate with and learn together how to get around with the house and how to give birth to a cultural project.
  Besides doing projects, we will be glad to play, dance, go for a walk and have some fun together with you.

  Aide

  Since we transferred to a big hose that wasn’t inhabited for the last years, there are lots of general maintenance to do around. Fixing water tubes, working in the garden (we will love to start growing some vegetables), some trees, painting, decorating, etc.
  We are also interested in artistic or cultural projects that could help to give birth to the artistic and cultural residence. So if you are involved with offering some laboratory, concert or any other artistic activity, our house could do for you.
  Since there is a lot of material (pieces of wood, pieces of metal and other strange stuff we found here), inventors are wellcome and could have a lot of fun.

  Hébergement

  The house have two floors. Our family sleeps upstairs. Downstairs there’s a kitchen a bath and a big living room divided by a curtain. Behind the curtain we built a room for you with a big round bed (it could be used by a single person or a couple).
  There’s also a room with a bath outside the house that could be used in the summer so we can give hospitality to more than one traveler. We think that shearing between more people will increase the cultural exchange and the possibilities of getting creative and having fun together.

  Our house is near Piana degli Albanesi, a little typical sicilian town in the mountain. We are surrounded by forests and there are a lot of places to go for a walk in nature.
  We are half an hour far from the city of Palermo, and there is the possibility to reach Palermo by bus (there’s a bus stop in front of the house). We also go by car to the city almost every day, so we could give you a ride.
  We are in a strategic point between the city and nature, so you could at the same time be in touch with cultural life of the city and with the beauty of sicilan natural environment.
