We re looking to welcome somebody 2 to 4 weeks starting late August to help with busy back to school weeks.
We are a family of six (two adults, three children, and a beagle). We live in the South of France, between Vence and Tourrettes-sur-Loup. We have a separate guest room that we rent out in the summer and which is often used by our au pairs during the school year. The next group should arrive at the end of September or beginning of October, and we would like to host one or two travelers to help us with the back-to-school weeks. This would involve helping in the garden, with the chickens, the dog, etc., and some chores around the house (putting away breakfast items, preparing a few meals). This isn't an au pair job, but rather providing companionship and support during a busy time for our family. Our children speak English.

Bonjour ! Nous sommes une famille de 6 (deux adultes, 3 enfants, a chien beagle). Nous vivons dans le Sud de la France entre Vence et Tourrettes sur Loup. Nous avons une chambre d amis independante, que nous louons l’été et qui sert souvent à nos jeunes filles aupair pendant la periode scolaire. La prochaine devrait arriver fin Septembre ou debut Octobre et nous souhaitons accueillir un ou deux voyageurs pour nous aider avec les semaines de rentrée. Il s’agirait d’aide au jardin, avec les poules, le chien…et de quelques taches à la maison (rangement du petit dejeuner, preparation de quelques repas). Ce n est pas un job d aupair mais plutot une presence / un soutien sur des semaines qui sont intenses pour la vie de famille. Nos enfants parlent anglais. -

french family with extensive time spent abroad (Us Mexico UK Spain NZ), we like to share about our region, food, language - we would share diner with our guests, diner is the best time to share with the whole family. We can have diner in French or English, even a bit of Spanish.
We offer a dynamic family environnement in a beautiful provençal house, in the middle of nature. We can teach a bit of gardening (although we are not professionals), French and Italian cooking, and French lifestyle in general. -

Hébergement
Independant room with bathroom but no kitchen. Very clean as we airbnb it during the summer.

Hiking in the nearby « baous » is the first thing that comes to mind, but exploring out typical villages is great too (Tourrettes / Saint-Paul de Vence). We are about one hour from the Italian border which is great for day trips.
