  Description

  Hello, we are Cetin and Kim, and we live together at The Farm in the mountains near Antalya, in the village of Karaoz.
  Cetin founded the farm, and Kim joined him later. Today, we run and develop the farm together. It is a place that is growing step by step, with many ideas for the future.
  At the moment, we grow organic avocados and olives, as well as lemons, oranges and other fruit. We are also planning to grow more of our own organic vegetables. Caring for the land and working in a sustainable way are very important to us.
  We enjoy meeting people from different countries and sharing everyday life on the farm. As a Workawayer, you can get involved in the projects that are happening at the time, learn about farm life and spend time with us, our team and other volunteers.
  There is no fixed programme, as life on the farm changes with the seasons, the weather and the work that needs to be done. We value a relaxed, respectful atmosphere where everyone communicates openly and feels welcome.

  The Farm is a place to experience everyday life in rural Turkey and to learn through shared daily activities. We enjoy welcoming people from different countries and backgrounds, and exchanging ideas, stories, food and ways of living. Depending on the season, you can learn about organic avocado, olive and fruit growing, caring for animals, working with the harvest, and preserving seasonal produce. At the same time, we are happy to learn from the skills, experiences and perspectives that Workawayers bring with them.

  Aide

  The help on the farm changes with the seasons and the projects we are working on. It can include gardening and farm tasks, caring for animals, light maintenance and DIY projects, and helping to keep the farm and its outdoor areas clean and tidy.
  During harvest times, Workawayers may also help us process and preserve what grows on the farm, such as lemons, pomegranates, olives or other seasonal fruit.
  There may also be other small projects that are not listed here. These can take different forms depending on what is happening on the farm at the time and on your own skills, interests and experience. If you have a particular skill or idea that you would like to contribute, please tell us when you apply so that we can discuss it together in advance.
  We are looking for people who enjoy practical tasks, are reliable and respectful around animals and nature, and are happy to be part of everyday life on the farm.

  Hébergement

  Our guest accommodation is separate from our own living space and located directly on the farm. One guest room has two single beds, a private entrance and its own bathroom with a shower. The second guest room has three beds, including a double bed, and a separate entrance; its shower and toilet are in a small bathroom building right next door. This bathroom building may also be shared by guests staying in a campervan or tent on the farm. Camping is possible by prior arrangement, and there is space to set up a tent. We try to accommodate couples together whenever possible and agree the exact arrangement with you in advance. A private room is only available if we explicitly confirm it beforehand. During longer stays, a room change may occasionally be necessary, but we will always let you know in advance. Bedding and towels are provided. You will have access to the shared kitchen, where guests often cook for themselves or together. There are no fixed shared mealtimes, but meals and time together often happen naturally. There is no TV on the farm. Moderate alcohol consumption is fine on Saturdays; on other days, please do not drink alcohol on the farm. Saturday afternoon and Sunday are free, giving you time to rest, explore the area, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Taurus Mountains.

  The Farm is a place for people who care about nature, sustainable living and respectful farming. We are committed to organic agriculture and continue to develop the farm step by step with this vision in mind. We would be happy to welcome people who share these values and would like to be part of the journey. In your free time, you can relax on the farm, walk in the surrounding countryside or explore the area; the reservoir with restaurants and additional walking routes is about 20 minutes away by car, and the coast and beaches can be reached in around one hour to a little over an hour. There are also several ancient sites and places of historical interest in the wider region around Antalya, and we are happy to share suggestions and help you plan your free time. If you don’t have your own vehicle, local buses are available. We can help you understand the connections and, by arrangement, take you to the nearby bus stop.

  Possibilité d’accueillir les digital nomads

  Digital nomads are welcome at The Farm. We have WiFi across the property, which is normally suitable for video calls and remote work. Please keep in mind that this is a farm stay and cultural exchange, not a co-working retreat. All Workawayers, including digital nomads, are expected to take part in the agreed helping schedule. Outside of this time, you are welcome to use the WiFi for your own work and enjoy the quieter rhythm of life on the farm.

  Campervans are possible and workawayers have access to the farm’s facilities, like common areas, kitchen, and bathroom facilities.

  We may be able to welcome Workawayers travelling with a dog, but please always agree this with us in advance. Tell us a bit about your dog in your application – size, age, and temperament. Since we already have many animals on the farm, we just need to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
